I did a search already on this, but didn't come up with much. Is it possible that ferulic acid can cause some bumps/whiteheads? I seem to be striking out with the C serum. I used Kassy's lovely C,E FA recipe, and I absolutely loved the texture of it....but, I am apparently allergic to the SKB. Now here lately I'm noticing an increase in whiteheads. Could it be the ferulic?
I'm starting to feel very defeated because when I just used the LAA, H20, and glycerin, it gave me blackheads because I think it was oxidizing too quickly. Kassy's serum gave me NO blackheads, but I am allergic to the SKB, and now I'm thinking there's a problem with using the ferulic.
Do any of you have any suggestions? Thank you! |

I have not used Kassy's C, E, Ferulic recipe, but I know with Skinceuticals C, E, Ferulic there were people saying that the Vitamin E was what was causing breakouts. Can you leave out the E or substitute it with something else to check if that might be the cause? |
