Hi..look at lumanosity with the usual befores and afters. A friend of mine had a bad experience with Fraxel and another doctor recommended a fotofacial. I did a search on fotofacial and that popped up and looks interesting! See what you think..thanks! |

It doesn't look like the LED's we are used to.. |

i looked at this site..and it looks interesting..but there is so much more i need to know about it..it concerns me that the site speaks of creating new collagen so quickly..i don't recall for sure..but i think on one page it's spoken of as being created after only one week of using this device( or some such incredibely short period of time)
i sent them an email asking for more specifics about their device and to speak with someone in person..cause it's potentially interesting |

Photofacial is actually a trademarked procedure and laser machine, services provided only in a professional office. Fotofacial implies laser but is using the LED light system, which is a big difference in terms of strength and results.
LED's cannot even begin to deliver the same results as a photofacial, at even the lowest settings.
It sounds like someone is trying to cash in on the LED wave by using a familiar name catch. |

Have a look at the power chart, which indicates LightStim is the strongest when it comes to power, of all the LED's we are familiar with here at EDS. (Unless of course they are lying too... )
Based on my continued great results, I'm not the least bit surprised.. |

I also noted the chart that says that Lightstim is the strongest form of LED but it's very short on technical specifications - also, they have the DermaWand on the chart which is not an LED device!
In addition, if you go to the "in the news" page - all the advertising blurb is on other salon type professional skin treatments which have nothing to do with LED. It all seems a bit suss to me. |

Hi all, This is my first post to what seems like a wonderful forum!javascript:emoticon('')I am considering the lumanosity LED because it is the most powerful (per the comparison chart on its website) I want to tighten skin, mostly on my thighs, and lighten up sun spots. Does anyone know how this product does, or even how any home LED device does with skin tightening elsewhere than the face, and lightening sun damage? Thanks, Janey |

Very poor web pages.
Very little evidence based on research and not clear what bandwidth they are using in the LEDS.
Not convinced.
