I purchased this cream at a local health food store and have found it to be an amazing hand and body cream. It is crafted by a company out of Australia and the packaging states it to be "a rich, soothing nourishing all-over body cream to help rescue extremely dry skin, skin overexposed to the elements and loss of skin elasticity."

I find it to be a rich cream...not a lotion that you can apply and have it completely sink in after 30 seconds. That said, it is not overly greasy either, I can apply it to my hands, wipe the excess off my palms and then begin typing on my laptop. It is richer than Jurliques lavendar hand cream if that helps.

Ingredients are water, rose hip seed oil, shea butter, grape seed oil, glycerin, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, glycerol stearate, rosemary leaf extract, cetyl esters, soybean oil, carrot root extract, helichrysum odaratissimum extract, xanthan gum, sodium hydroxy-methylglycinate, chamomile flower oil, beta carotene, vitamin E, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, citric acid, farnesol.

Background info: I have been looking for a body/hand cream that would ease my skin when it gets itchy (I am 8 months pregnant, and while I don't have any stretch marks yet, my skin does get itchy every few days)

I was (and continue to) using oils on my skin daily - avocado, rose hip, camellia and for the most part these work well. It seemed, however, that I sometimes needed something richer/heavier, likely due to the very dry cold Canadian winter. This is a great cream and I will re-purchase.

Good review Myamax. I have also used this body cream on both body and hands and love it as well. I am going to stick with it as it is very reasonably priced and means I have more left over for face products.

Hey Myamax,

congrats on your pregnancy - I just wanted to say that while I didn't try Kosmea's body cream, I did try their face moisturizing cream and it made my cheeks go red.

Didn't like that. Perhaps it was some combination of essential oils, i don't know.

And with essential oils you want to be extra cautious during pregnancy...

So far to my knowledge best against stretch marks is cocoa butter. You could whip shea butter and add slowly melted cocoa butter and continue whipping. Apply generously - the cream feels like souffle and smells wonderful.

I make this at home a lot for family and friends.
