Hello,
I live in Canada and am in my mid 20's and I want to apply for a work Visa to Australia. The reason for wanting to go would be just for the experience and to do something different while I am still young, because I would probably not have an oppertunity to do something like this when I have a family one day. I was looking into the Holiday work Visa. This is my first time applying and am clueless about how I would go abouts to getting a work visa. Has anybody gotten a work visa to australia from canada before? Where would I have to go to apply for one? Do I have to go to some government office? Can I apply online? Is there a fee for application? Any details would much be appreciated. Thank you |

I don't have any experience with Australia but in order to get my papers for the UK I have been going through the embassy in Vancouver.

I did the working holiday visa to Australia a long time ago.
I applied in 1996.
It was easy to apply, at the time I had to go to the consulate in downtown and fill out some paperwork.
The process didn't take long.
You maybe able to apply on line nowadays.
It is an amazing experience.
