I have thin skin, with sunspots, enlarged pores and spider veins that make my face always look reddish.
I've been using some anti-ageing products for avail now, and I've always used AHA as a night treatment before, in periods.
I'M interesting in trying a Retinol product nighttime. If it can help restore and prevent my skin issues.
But, I wounder if there are any known ingredients that can actually make my skin spider veins worse?
My thinking cap are on. Because I have so thin skin, sensitive skin, can I make my skin more fragile with some kinds of acids?
Maybe a stupid question.. |

Not a stupid question at all. Ingredients that irritate the skin can definitely make broken caps more apparent or create new one's. With ingredients like AHA's and retinols its their nature to 'irritate' the skin. Now this can vary by skin type and does not mean every one will get broken caps but should be considered if your especially sensitive and notice more after use. Also some times they will go away when the irritation stops.

Ouch I am red just to read you.
I have also a sensitive skin with broken capillaries. You have to be very smooth with your skin. I really don't think that AHA is indicated |

Yes, that is just the question for me. What could go well with my skin type..and what can help the broken caps, maybe I Should try another approach, face massage and try vitamin K, that are supposed to help some with the same issue. |

Do you use any product to prevent them from returning? Ever tried vitamin K? |

I am using soothing products. I am now with Valmont soothing cream that I love I want to try the serum now.
The big mistake I did (one of the mistake !!) was to use products that contain essential oil or phyto extracts. All those products are not for me. I loss a lot in term of good smelt but win a lot in term of skin color. I was always red
No I never try vitamin K. You mean internally or as an ingredient ?
The reality is that broken capillaries will be back one day but I work hard to make this happen in a long time.
I put 60 SPF protection when I am out and again soothing products. |

If your skin is very sensitive you may want to avoid retinols, according to Dr.Baumann of the skin type solution. I have read that AHA , BHA's can thin the skin, which might make your caps more apparent through the tissue.

I had 2 laser treatments and mine returned both times. It was a big waste of money for me.

Broken capillaries are like little red spider veins. |

, I have two red dots on my nose that absolutely will NOT go away, theyve been there for a year maybe. I cant really remember how long... does that have anything to do with spider veins or broken caps? |

I have broken caps on the side of my face, and I have faint spider veins on my thighs but I've never really been self conscious about them as I don't think they're all that noticeable. Btw what's AHA and BHA? |
