This product was a huge disappointment. The jar states, "...for supernatural shine and softness" and the gel itself is made from "natural kelp in place of synthetic silicone."
Shine On (for anyone old enough to remember) feels like Dippity-Do and has a light, minty scent. However, it did absolutely nothing for my very fine, color-treated hair. I saw no improvement in texture/volume, nor increase in shine as promised. At $30 a small jar, this product seems overpriced and overrated. |

| thats typical. i always have unimpressive results from leave in conditioners.. either they do NOTHING or make my hair look stringy greasy |

That's a bummer this did not work for you. I was just thinking of picking this up at my local Whole Foods. They were out so I plan on getting it online.
May I ask if you were using any other styling products and if you put it on wet/dry hair? I have very thick curly hair that's porous so I'm thinking it could work on mine. My mother has very fine hair that gets oily easy. She cannot always use the same products as me since they weigh down her volume.
When I get my hands on this, I'll be sure to report back. I love JM's Citrus & Neroli Detangler. His products are a hit & miss, so it takes some experimenting but it can get pricey. |

I was wondering about this products, since trying other John Masters hair care products that I did not like.
