Has anyone ever used heated eyelash curlers? Do they work?

I found some here:

http://www.hotlashes.com/

If they do work, they would probably be a fabu addition to the super fabu eyelashes people are getting on the Lumigan For Eyelash Growth thread.

I've never tried heated eyelash curlers, but I have just shot the blow dryer on my cheapo one for a few seconds and that seemed to work fine.

So does it curl your lashes better than it just being cool?

I'm surprised no one has come up with an eyelash curling iron yet... It wouldn't leave that 'L' angle in your lashes.

I used to put my mascara on first then use an eyelash curler after (not a hot one) and used to get a really bad L shape. Looked funny. Then one day I curled my eyelashes first then used the mascara right after and 'voila', no L. So that's how I've used it since. And yes, I did notice using the blowdryer worked better but not enough for me to bother doing to everyday.

I have a heated curler and it works great. no L shape as it's like a comb that you keep the lashes sitting in while heating. Mine is the 1000 hour lash curler.

Cool. Can you find a link to the product and do you use it before or after mascara?

Inky I'm in Australia so I bought it at Price Attack.
I just had a quick look and found the site for you. It has free worldwide shipping too. Surprised

http://www.1000hour.com.au/eyelashcurler.html

It talks about using it without mascara, so it obviously works without it. I've always used it after applying mascara though, never tried it without.

I use a heated eye lash curler called Eyecurl and I love it. I never get the L kink - just a nice curl. I use it after applying my mascara. Sometimes if I have time, I'll use it before the mascara too. The kit also comes with a handy little brush to clean the unit. I found mine at an asian mall for $25 CAD.
