hi beauties.. i need some help from you 
has anyone used skinceuticals vitamin C serums? i am thinking of buying c+aha... or vit c 15.. i am not sure if they are good... i want to remove my acne marks .. but my skin is a little bit sensitive too.. i am not sure if they will be too strong for me ?! |

I use the Skinceuticals C + E - I like it very much!!! Mucho expensive however, but it's great stuff!!! I may be broke, but my skin looks great! LOL

Hi! I have combo skin with oily T zones and have used SC C+AHA. This is a great product for evening out skin tones. My skin has really cleared up in the last 2 weeks that I've been using this (with phyto+ for my freckles  No major breakouts apart from my chin area so I've avoided using this on this area. The AHA component I think can be drying so I've started using the B5 gel together with it and a richer moisturiser. If I were to start all over again, I'd probably buy the vit C serum on it's own (maybe with Vit E) then use a separate AHA serum for night time. Having said all that, I will continue using it every other day. HTH and good luck! |

I agree that you should use Vit C on its own or the C+E. The Vit C + AHA may be too strong if you have sensitive skin, and especially if you are starting on Vit C the first time.
Depending on how sensitive your skin is, you may even want to start on a lower strength of Vit C - the Vit C 10%. The Vit C+E and Vit C+AHA have a 15% Vit C strength which may be too strong for some skin even on its own. The Vit C 10 is also cheaper

Hi,
I bought the samples and want to say be very careful if you have sensitive skin. My eyes were red and puffy after using some of these products. Also, the samples are very small for the price. VERY EXPENSIVE!! |

Please be careful if you are using Vit C for the first time. My sensitive skin broke out the first time I used a Cellex C Advance (15%). I had to start with a 7.5% strength and gradually increased the Vit C concentration. Now I am using Vivier 20 with no problems. Please test in on a small area first.
You should use Vit C in the morning, right after you cleanse and tone your face. Add a hydrator (if you have one) or a moisturizer over the Vit C. And, don't forget your sunscreen as the last step.

I too have sensitive skin. I've been using the C Serum 15 and the Phyto+. I have had very good results when using the serums in the AM before moisturizer. Before purchasing the Serum 15 though, I used a sample of the Serum 10 and found no adverse effects.
My dark spots have been lightened even more successfully than the prescription lighteners that I tried in the past. |

| Evelyn - it might be initial sensitivity to the vit C but also has something to do with the pH of the product. I've found Vivier and CellularSkinRx to be the least likely to sting. |
