Hi,
"1000-hour lash tint" is also selling a heated eyelash curler that seems to work differently that the others. Instead of "squeezing" the eyelashes, it just lifts them with heat, which should avoid eyelash crimping and breaking.
Here's the link to the curler:

Has anyone tried it? I would like to know how it compares to the Shu Umera or shisheido one.
Thanks! |

I have a heated lash curler... looks like this one... I don't know the brand. It works well.. But I don't think it's a good idea to heat the lashes on a regular basis. The potential for breakage seems pretty likely. Only lashes don't grow back as fast as hair that's been damaged by a curling iron...
I use it for special occassions... |

I used to have one, I think I got it free with the tint. I've also used several other kinds of heated eyelash curlers. I don't think that they're as effective as the more traditional crimping type ones - plus you can't use them with those tube type mascaras.
Someone ages ago conducted a massive test on all of the most popular eyelash curlers and I think the winner was a Japanese brand called SUQQU. I found one on Ebay and I'm very happy with it - they're supposed to be better than the Shu Umera ones. |
