Ok, I've been using both these products for about 5/6 weeks: after the first 2 weeks I've observed a considerable change in the appearance of my lines. Hurray! I had thought that the first results should be seen in 2/3 months, so I was very happy. But since then, the situation has not changed a bit. The skin is smoother, tighter, but not getting any better. Is this normal? I did not expect the products to keep on working till I looked 10…but I wonder if I should expect any more improvements. Also, "less is more" or do I pile up the lotion on the face? Is more product better?
As for the Okusil: do I also use it above the eye? I noticed my eyelids are drooping a little bit (I'm 42): do I use the Okusil there? Alone or with the Alphaderma above it?
Last (I promise): they recommend to use the AD 3 times a day - so, morning, noon and evening. If I use the AD at noon, I will have a moisturizer on my face (since the morning). Does this create some sort of barrier, hindering the absorption of the AD? Thank you, thank you, thank you all. |

Hi Lorena,
I think what you are experiencing is very normal. The first couple of weeks I noticed that my skin looked so much better. Biggest thing for me was the firmness. I have now been using the ADCE, Prep and Okusil for about 4 months. My skin looks really great. I have stuck with my routine religously and I'm thrilled.
I only use ADCE 2 times a day. I use the Prep first (under eye and above avoiding lid itself), ADCE (under eye and brow bone) then Okusil. I apply Okusil above my eye also. Perhaps it is best to avoid Okusil on the lid. However, when it has gotten on my lid I have not run into any problem.
This goes for any product: We look in the mirror everyday. I don't think we notice slight changes our skin goes through. Perhaps I noticed the changes more as I took pictures periodically while using the line. Naturally we get to a point that we will reach optimal results. If we like what we see with a product we want to keep the results.
By using ADCE/Prep/Okusil I hope to keep the results I received and not return to a sagging face. From what I understand it will also help me not develop more lines.
Hope this helps.
Oh, do you exfoliate as needed for your skin?

If you are thinking eyelids...go to the spa section of Janson-Beckett & I think that it's item 100-213-S but there is an eyelid serum that comes in ampules. Very nice. Since my eyes are really sensitive I just use it at night on my lids & Okusil around the orbital bone & in the daytime I use only the Okusil. That spa section in like a candy shop!! Fun! Fun! Fun! And the girls working at the toll free number are extremely helpful. |

Ruth how does the eyelid serum ampules feel on your skin and what's the outcome? Does it take the entire ampule? I have very crepey eyelids. This might just be the ticket. Winnie, Mabsy and you have me thinking about ampules alot lately. |

phredd4,
I think you would really love adding ampules into your routine. Ampules are very concentrated. JB has many different type ampules depending on what you are looking for.
Now, RuthMarion has me thinking about the lids. I have only used the Hyaluronic Acid Ampules them. |

When I use the eyelid ampules I make sure that my lids are scrupulously clean, take a q-tip & line the area between my orbital bone & about 1/16" below the crease. Also, I don't go quite to the edges where it could slide down into my eyes. I wait a few minutes with my eyes closed or almost closed, throw my head back so I can still motot around (can you tell I'm hyper ) & then I take one end of my glorious new dhc silky pads & kind of blot off what may not have dried. I might be a bad one to ask about how it feels because my eyelids have more oil than a refinery (even though there are supposedly no oil glands there). It feels a bit sticky at first and then dries so if you pull your fingers over your lids (like you aren't supposed to) they drag a bit. If I were to use it in the day time it would drive me crazy in a couple of hours - but that's because of the oily lid part. I'm always trying powders & oil absorbing stuff to stop it but nothing has helped yet due to the two hour crazy factor. For years I didn't do a single thing to my eyelids because I didn't want them greasier than they were. It always seemed strange that when I went for a facial they would load my lids up with moisturizer & try to get me to buy some (apparently they were oily but dehydrated). These ampules are doing quite nicely. In the morning my eyes are a little puffy after any night application I have ever tried, but I use eyedrops on a cotton pad (did I mention how much I love the dhc silky pads) Wipe everything off around my eyes & use another one wet with the eyedrops & leave them on top for 5 minutes or so. Wow does that sound complicated
I don't think that anyone would be sorry if they tried this product. |

Yes, yes, yes...I do exfoliate. I'm very good that way. Thanks for all info and suggestions; I'll look into them. |

I just measured the ampule that I have for applications per ampule. I only use it around where my lids crease & just under my eyes above the orbital bone but not as high as my lashes & the bottle will last 20 applications. There were 6 ampules in the box (I think) so that alot of uses! |

I read from some other reviews that the Okusil is not worth buying. Does it make much difference for the under eye finelines? Can I apply the ADCE on my eyes? |
