Im on the Obagi system. I took a small break and started concentrating on my eyelashes instead with Lumigan(ADC).
While ordering Lumigan I noticed that they had hydroguinone + Tretinoin called Skin Lite or Mometasone Furoate. (which would be like the Blend in Obagi) and they had just hydroquinone 4% like Clear but called Alustra4% or Melalite.
Has anyone on Obagi used these as a substitution at refill time? Or have you used either of those products and can ellaberate on them further? Thanks |

I intend to order the 4% hydroquinone, but am afraid to order the Skin Lite, because I was afraid it had a cortisone (I probably spelling this wrong) it it. Does the Blender have Mometasone Furoate in it? |

I did order the hydroquinone cream called Melalite Forte Cream from ADC. I blend it with my Retin A and use a very small amount. (like Blender and Retin A). I read on some of the sites associated with India that that is how they use it(the combination makes it work better and faster). So far nothing bad although it smells to me exactly like the old perming solutions. I hope that it is just as good as Obagi because it is a lot cheaper. Indians in India have used this for a long time to lighten their skin.
I can't recommend because I only just began the switch. But so far all is well. |

I'd like to look into this too. This may be a good thing to use while on the "maintenance" phase of Obagi. It would be helpful to hear from others who may have used this product?? |

Does anyone know if you can substitute a regular tube of 4% hydroquinone in place of the Obagi Clear? I have a tube that I'd like to use and was wondering if this would be ok. Thanks!! |

Since I last posted on this thread I have received my 4% hydroquinone from ADC. I do intend to order the Clear from EDS in my next credit card cycle, but in the meantime I am using this. It is a white cream, and smells really bad. I have only been using it for two weeks, and have not seen a difference in pigment/ discoloration as of yet. |

THanks MarieIG, I currently have a tube of HQ and just want to finish it and thought it'd be ok with the Obagi Nuderm system as a comparable substitute for Clear. I'm using it just as I would the Clear and it seems to be doing ok. |

Has anyone tried the Skin Lite from ADC yet?
Is this for white skin and what are the benefits?
Thanks |

I think it's too irritate to your skin if you use both of it. |

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but what you are you ladies using the Obagi Clear for? Is it to lighten freckles and hyperpigmentation or is it to lighten your overall skin tone? I'm confused. TIA! |
