I came across this product while searching and it seems like a good product. Here is the link to its ingredients. http://mercola.fileburst.com/PDF/product-labels/sunscreen-spf50-web.pdf
Dr. Mercola is so confident about this product that he is giving away a lifetime guarantee. I did some searching on the reviews and someone said this product is actually the same as a brand called Mexitan.
Anyone tried either of them?

Thanks for linking that thread on Mexitan, havana8. There are loads of different threads on sunscreens and they often go over the same material again in a different place. I have done a lot of back reading on here (as well as elsewhere) to try to get the sunscreen.

htian21 that sunscreen is the same as Mexitan spf50. I find that although the zinc and Ti02 are micronised it still leaves a white caste. It also seems to "set" very quickly so that if you haven't patted/ smoothed in on in a few secs it will start flaking. Another concern I have is that it contains eucalyptus oil which apparently is photosensitizing. That's listed as the last ingredient and it's not as bad as citrus but still..
If anybody wants to sample some just let me know as I have a massive half gallon container of it!

I am interested to check out Soleo sunscreens as the ingredients look alright but I need to know what size the particles are. The EWG website says not nano but that site in my exp isn't always 100% totally up with it..Not sure. I have emailed Soleo and no answer either, so..
The other one I wanted to check out because of good reviews on here and also it contains ZincClear Smile is NCN All Natural Sun Protection.

There is one sunscreen that I tried, that I can't see mentioned(done with searching for t'day!) that was really good - feeling, appearance and 18.6% zinc and green tea is Burnout Clean and Clear. Their customer service was very good too. I might order this again as I liked the sunscreen a lot.

TTD,

Thank you for your thorough answer. I purchased it in the end and tried it myself and found the same problems as you mentioned. It is too dry for me. But I find it is perfect for re-apply application during summer activities because the skin are usually sweat and oily. So I only use it for that purpose.
I have been using Marie-Veronique Organic Creme de Jour Tinted SPF 30 lately. I like it so far. It doesn't leave a white cast since it is tinted. Its safe rating is 1, less safe than Badger but not too bad. Has anyone tried it yet?

I too couldn't find information regarding the particle size although I did come across this info:

Soléo Organics includes a special form of "microfine" zinc oxide -- translated this means it will not leave your skin ghostly white like common zinc does. Zinc oxide is now considered the single best broadspectrum natural sunscreen (protecting from UV A and UV B rays)

and under Ingredient Facts:

Zinc oxide: -- We use a non nano particle coated Zinc Oxide that is not photoreactive and will not produce hydroxyl ions (free radicals). We do not use traditional zinc coatings like dimethicone, aluminium, or sulphurs. Soleo uses only natural ingredients in all aspects of production and our zinc is coated with derivatives of coconut oil. Our zinc does not absorb into the bloodstream and effect serum zinc levels. Zinc assists in the growth and repair of the skin tissue. Zinc is the only sunscreen ingredient that offers comprehensive protection from the full spectrum of UV light, namely UV A, UV B and UV C. Unlike Titanium, Zinc is a true physical sunscreen, reflecting UV light and not absorbing it.

Thank-you havana8! I guess I was searched out

htian21: heard good things about that line and I would espec like to try the sunscreen. Really wish they would make it in more jumbo bottles (ok doesn't need to be as big as 1/2 gallon haha) but 50ml is so tiny for a sunscreen when you consider you have to reapply every two hours during the day! It's so different in quantity req to a night cream.
