My son turns 30 this fall & I want to buy him a special "keepsake" present. Not a tie clip or pen - something a little less old fashioned. I wondered about a Coach briefcase? It would need to be a gift certificate in that instance so he could pick out the one that he wanted. A laptop bag? For some insight....he is married & has the most perfect 5 month old daughter. He has a government job & where people used to "dress up" for work, that isn't necessary now (that's why I hesitate about a briefcase or tie clip thing). He is a clothes hound & loves his stereo/tv/high end technical stuff. He is an avid mountain biker/golfer/runner/chef.
He is my only child (lucky/poor him) & we have always been really close. Times have changed with him being married & a dad but I am sure that our bond is still solid so that is why I want that "certain" thing. His wife will be turning 30 next year & I want to do the same for her so female ideas work too. (They have the same interests)
Any ideas??? |

Depends on price range. But you could get him something from Tumi or Bosca gift certificate. For a laptop...you have to be VERY AWARE on the size of his laptop otherwise it won't fit. They also have AMAZING wallets. Maybe a burberry scarf? A nice black and white plaid one would be a super amazing present.

Depending on your budget, take the family on a special trip. I remember my parents took us to the Poconos, because we couldn't afford the vacation. We loved the trip and also enjoyed the time with my parents. My mother is no longer with us, but I'll always remember the trip. |
