Hi, Im a 20 year old female, and I have alot of raised acne scars between my breast. They are small but really raised and white compared to my tan skin. What will help flatten these scars? Injections, microdermabrasion, silicon sheets or gel, laser, peels, Im so clueless. |

I do not get that type of scaring but I believe that silicone sheeting is the best method of flattening these scars out perhaps using the gel for times when the wearing the patches is not practical. I don't think this would have an effect on the colour though. Perhaps dermabration or laser could help there. |

Steroid injections can help flatten a raised scar. The shot itself stings really bad but is over with in seconds. Usually you get a few shots over a several month period. This worked for me, I still have the scar of course but its no longer raised. I had this done starting about 4 months after the scar developed so I'm not sure if the scar is old if it still has the same effect. |
