I'm 55 and have tried so many skin care products! I'm looking for a skin care regime using either natural products or store bought.
I've used Retin-a for many years, but find that my hyperpigmentation has actually gotten worse. Has made me sun sensitive, even with suncreens. I meed products to help with crow's feet, and neck lines especially, as well as fading my uneven skin tone. TIA for your suggestions! |

Check the 302 thread on the product review forum. It sounds like it could really benefit you. It is a LONG thread, but read the first page and see if it would be something you are interested in. |

You could also check out the thread for ladies 55 and over. Lots of good info there as well. You'll find that many women are taking multi-pronged approach.

I would think you are using Obagi product lines before since you said you are using Retin-A? If you are, then, don't stop! This is the only product you can rely for older skin. But of course, if you use Obagi products, you must always use SUNCREENS ie at least SPF30 all the time.
Do you smoke? If you do, then, stop. One of the cause of wrinkles is smoking. Good diet is important as well as exercise... Good healthy lifestyle is also important...

You could try Athanor from Swizerland. One of their ingredents is Edelweiss extract which sounds good for anti-aging. I want to buy some for my mom~ |

Get rid of your discoloration. It ages you much more than fine lines and wrinkles do. I had excellent results with Obagi Nu Derm used along with Retin-A or Renova. My face is totally clear and it makes me look so much younger. |

Keli-I used NU Derm at your age and again a few years ago. If you don't stay on maintenance your melasma/hyperpigmentation will return. Having said that, I'm glad your skin is looking great! |

Check out the thread for the 55 and older... It is a wealth of information. And do a search for hyperpigmentation, etc as I'm sure that will bring up lots of ideas as well. |

More than 50 years old, should use the specific product lines, anti-aging has no practical significance, since it has been aging, and anti-wrinkle Phytosome more practical |
