Their products look interesting. I really liked the:
Day & Night Minerals SPF-30: Translucent (10g)
Sun reflecting mineral powder (UVA/UVB) for makeup and night-time healing, especially for soothing red, irritated skin. Protects and heals. Day and night use. Reduces appearance of irritated skin. Appropriate for any skin condition.
I wonder if it is better than Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil. |

Some of their products use avogen, the main compound in the 302 line. You'll see the Calmskin site gives credit to Dr. Huber for his avogen discovery. Whereas 302 is only available through consultation with an esthetician, Calmskin products can be purchased directly from their website.
Some of the 302 ladies mix/match products from Calmskin with their 302 goodies. If you have the patience, you can find *some* info about Calmskin interwoven in the humongous 302 thread:

Do you know if it is as effective or better than the 302 skincare line? |

I don't actually use the products, but I have read the ENTIRE 302 thread, and I continue to read it daily, because I know I will eventually use both the Calmskin and 302 products.
Rileygirl does use the products, and I believe she has already answered your question on the other thread. It is straight from Dr. Huber, so you can't get any more accurate than that.

From rileygirl's detailed explanation, I've extracted one sentence that should make it easy for you to decide:
Quote: |
302 is the choice for those who have access to an excellent skincare pro. There are not a lot of them. I can say that almost all, but by no means every one, of our 302 estheticians and docs are very savvy, experienced and careful. |
These two threads are starting to become redundant, as it's difficult to discuss Calmskin without bringing up 302, so I suggest you continue posting any remaining questions you have on the other thread. I'm sure someone will provide you with a list of skilled 302 vendors on that thread.

I received my introductory kit of Calm Skin yesterday and am on my second application. Their cleanser, Soothe and Mist when needed.
I do like how hydrated my skin feels. My skin had become mighty red between Copper Peptides (year) and a quick switch to NOTCH anti ageing cream.
So, I will give it a few days before reviewing it fully.
I deliberately posted to this thread because I'm trying to separate CalmSkin from 302- they are NOT the same product line. And the 302 thread has become ungainly and not user friendly. |
