Ladies, I need your advise on how to apply neck cream correctly.
After slamming on some cream I don't get which way to move: up? down? horizontal? hmm To me it seems like I'll be creating more wrinkles on my neck the way I put my cream on Sad

Help please, merci.

upward motion is what I was being taught...

also, another trick is to scrub the neck lines (if you have any) with facial scrub in a tiny circular motion along the line for couple of minutes.... it'll not only diminish the appearance of the lines but also allow the cream to be fully absorbed!! Smile

i've found (when in doubt, or w. a thick cream) go for light patting/pressing motions. it works for face, neck, eyes...

the light pressure also acts a bit like lymphatic drainage, and really brings colour to your cheeks when you do it consistently over time.

I have always used gently upwards sweeps, followed by a patting movement to "push" the cream in Laughing

BUT a few months ago on QVC they had the Cellcosmet lady on and she said we should go DOWNWARDS for applying neck cream.. and here is where I got a bit muddled with language.. but something about the pressure points in the neck respond to downward movement. I guess it is like under the eye should go from outside to inside for putting on cream.

I was told downward strokes for neck, something to do with working towards the heart. I prefer the patting method personally.

Dr. H recommends this type of procedure with their cleansing cream. It makes a lot of sense.
