One of my friends has tried it and according to her, it was really effective. But since I did not try it, I could not tell. |

I have tried samples but didn't use or have enough to actually see it work well enough. I did read in a magazine yesterday that Murad has a very good pore minimizer and DDF does as well. I want to get some samples and see how they work. |

I did get the samples and am using the DDF at night and the Dr. Brandt in the daytime. No change but it is only been a few weeks.
I also got the dermadoctor pore minimizer sample as well to try, but haven't yet. |

I tried it, but I prefer Murad. Murad is better for my sensitive skin. |

I hear that it is effective in some way for reducing blackheads. Not hearing that it's good for curing acne. It seems contain salicid acid, an ingredient common in acne products. Anyway, there are a lot of better alternatives... |

I tried some samples but there's no change at all. For me, Murad is more effective. |

Yeap~ Dr. brandt pore productions really did effect to me. But there was just a little changed. I advise you to try the Dr. Brandt Pores No More To Go kit, because besides the Pore Effect, the No More Pore Refiner is equally worked well. |

Dr. brandt pore line has a lot of products, not only the Pore Effect itself.
Pore Effect is cream, but I also do not know how does it works....I have no idea about the ingrediant list.... |

I have tried samples but I think that is expensive for the results...Have you tried Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector (Clinique)? |

Eraseunavez, I have the whole Clinique range. The Instant Pore Perfector is just a filler, and it is the serum that is supposed to reduce pores over time by strengthening the cell walls. The serum is a good mattifier, but that's about it. I like Becca's pore concealer better than the Clinique one. |

I have used a lot of Clinique product too, but neither of them did a good job, and I do not like them at all!
I think Clinique is just suitable for young people around 20, whose skin has nothing wrong, and whose target is just keep skin moist. |

After I had my microdermabrasion and 5 step cleaning yesterday, the esthetician used a clarisonic on me and that really did help the clogged pores. I need to remember to have them steamed and sanded away more often. They also did a de-gunking mask and pumpkin enzyme peel to help loosen them up. Worlds better, 98% gone.
I then ordered the Clarisonic Mia from EDS to use full-time. I decided that if I remember to regularly steam my face and use scrubs and peels along with the Mia I could keep the blackheads from building back up.
The sample of Dr. Brandt hadn't done anything, but I only used it a few weeks. |

Hi guys,
I'm a newbie on here but I've used Pore Effect on and off for over a year. It's described as a refining cream. I've recommended it to numerous friends and colleagues and always describe it to them as a clarifying cream. If you sniff it you'll see what I mean! It's full of tea tree oil and salicylic acid and while your brain is telling you 'how can putting a thick heavy cream on my face unclog my pores?", the smell reassures you - hope i'm making some sense
So, if my face is particularly congested, I put a small amount (about size of my little finger nail) on the affected areas and then I add an oil-free moisturiser over the top.
I also use Dr Brandt's 'Pores no more' as my makeup primer. IMO it's the best mattifying and skin-smoothing primer on the market...and i've tried too many to mention.
Hope this helps!
