My husband has been complaining about needing a tan, but never actually goes tanning. I on the other hand am very tan, so have no idea what products work well. Can anyone recommend something even if it is a product you can use to go out in the sun with?

| I like Avene's Moisturizing self-tanner. It doesn't turn me orange or give me dry lizard skin. I find the color very natural. Apply with a zip lock bag on your hand -- the kind with the pull tabs (close it with your teeth) and you'll have zero streaking. Available at drugstore.com |

I love St. Tropez's self tanner. I use the mousse formula.
Great colour, and dries very quickly with no offensive odour  |

For me, the best ever self-tanner is Guerlain Terracotta Sunless Luxurious Self-tanning Balm. Absolutely love it! It gives a sun-kissed natural look, very easy to apply, and no self-tanner smell. Love it  It is quite expensive, but definitely worth it! |

I've used a ton of self tanners throughout the years and the best one I've used so far is from Body Drench and is called Quick Tan. It's a spray, comes out very even and is really just a gorgeous color. The hair salon I go to sells it and can't keep it in stock. I started buying it online...here's a link to where you can find it:

| The best tanning lotion I have ever used and I've tried them all is Tan Secret from HSN. It costs anywhere from $16.90 to $19.90, plus shipping. It is by Toni Brattin. It does not streak, it dries quickly and I have gotten many compliments from people thinking I've been out in the sun getting the tan. |
