I am not sure if it should be paid especial attention to the sun care just as AHA.
If sun screen should be applied, how much spf and pa+ must be reached? |

Thank you very much!
I have got a bottle of Decleor Vitamin C essential serum. The introduction says it is used day and night but not any caveat on the suncare stuff is given...It should be put on the label, really. |

There is actually still much debate about whether using a vitamin c serum in the morning is a good thing or not; research is increasingly showing that vitamin c can actually promote free-radical damage when exposed to sunlight. |

I had no idea about this . So when do you guys use vit c? At night? If so, I use Renova. Would I be able to use the two together? |

Not to be used in the morning; best to rotate it with retinoic acid at night. |

You might want to check out the Vitamin C threads on smartskincare.com. Dr. Todorov over there wrote you can use both C serum and tretinon the same evening. I tried it for several days without ill effect.
Of all the forums I visit, smartskincare is the one I trust most for accurate information about skin care. Not to say there aren't knowledgable lay people on forums, but sometimes things that are passed off as "facts" are really interpretations of things people think they remember hearing or reading somewhere. I know; I've done it myself. |

I am 40+ and only recently started using Vit C serum. Better late than never. I apply it at night only. I alternate nights between Vit C serum and Avene Retrinal. |

I've been on here for two years and it was always my understanding that the morning application was the most desired - although I think I had heard of the warning. Morning app is supposed to help with decreasing bad effects of the sun. |
