The sun is really doing a number on me this summer and I'm sprouting freckles like crazy!! No matter how frequently I reapply my sunscreen, I just keep sweating it off even quicker!
So I decided I no longer care how crazy I look, and I want to buy one of those visors that look like a metal welders' helmut . Is there any specific brand that gets good reviews or screens better than others? I ask because here in Asia they're sold everywhere, but the stores that sell them are seriously so shoddy and the sales people are so clueless, they could very well be selling me colored cellophane and I wouldn't know it! For something that has such an important function, I'd rather spend some extra money on a quality visor that is known to work. If anyone knows of a good brand, I'd really appreciate it if you could point me to the right direction. Thanks! |

Hi ricayhermosa,
I'm hesitant to buy off Ebay, as again, I'd have no idea if i'm buying a fake. Thanks for the hat suggestion, I'll take a look later. |

There is SunSoul. They have two visors in their line that are rated UPF 50+, Yelomod Sports Visor and Blumod Sports Visor. They're the ones that use high tech fabric to convert the sun's rays into beneficial phototherapy. It looks as if they are on sale right now. |

I have one from http://www.facevisor.com .
I use this when I do yard work since its impossible to keep sunscreen on in this humid florida weather. |

Thanks Girliegirl and Havana8! I just placed an order for the facevisor, and since SunSoul can't ship internationally, I've told my girlfriend in the US to get me a baseball cap. Now I'm totally armed! Bring it on, you evil UV rays!!! |
