Can you recomend a good eye cream to prevent wrinkes and keep down dark circles for a perso in their mid-twenties. Some creams are developed for older eye areas and they are just too heavy for a younger face.
Thank you in advance. |

Here are a few preventative products to consider: DDF Protective Eye Creme SPF 15, Dermalogica's MV Powerfirm for Eyes and Lips (this is silicone based, so your make-up glides on over-top!), Murad Essential-C Eye Creme SPF 15, and Phytomer's Lift Contour (gel-based creme) is very nice! Purrrr, purrrr! |

I agree! I'm in my mid-twenties and use Dermalogica's powerfirm for eyes and lips, it feels fantastic! |

from my experience, every eye gel is OK provided that they are not too rich as you are just young. |

i think you just focus on the moisture around the eyes in your 20's. |

...and of course, sunscreen and sunglasses and lots of good sleep and nutrition! |

Funny you should mention this. I think everyone in their mid-twenties searches for the perfect eye cream, as a "preventative" measure. I was just talking with several friends of mine (we are now all in our thirties) about how we are 100% sure that our daily use of expensive eye creams throughout our 20s did absolutely nothing for our eye area... I don't even have a separate eye cream anymore, and I feel like my fine lines are better than ever.
If I were to invest in one, however, it would be Osea's Eyes and Lips, which tones and protects the eye area, and is not too rich. It also gives the area a satiny-matte sheen. But as far as preventing wrinkles in the eye area, I'm nearly convinced that eye creams do nothing!

les at your age the best "eye cream" would be stay out of the sun, don't smoke and get plenty of sleep.
I know this sounds like 'Mother's" advice but it is true.
You also need to make certain you are giving your body all the minerals and nutrients it need along with water.
A good moisturizer is great but if you go in the sun or smoke there is no point to any eye cream.
Good luck! |

I totally agree with Mishie & Avalange! No need to use an "eye cream" when your regular moisturizer can do the same thing. I don't see the point in spending money for nothing. In the day time though, I would definitely use your spf around the orbital bone area; at night your facial moisturizer is all you need. |

I am nearly 25 and am currently using a Roc eye cream although I do think that starting to use one with an SPF is very important at this age |

I've posted this before...but I use Burt's Bees Diaper Cream around my eyes. And I'm loving every minute of it!
I'm in the prevention category and along with sunscreen, this is what I use. I'm already seeing improvements in appearance (though not in terms of wrinkles, as I'm not to that point yet) but I look much better, like I've slept well.
And the freaky "ghosty eyed" look totally scares the heck out of my cat and husband. Good times |
