You'll have a problem with both those ingredients because they are water soluble..

Bio Oil contains NO water;

Full ingredient listing

Paraffinum Liquidum (This is mineral oil and *probably* accounts for 90% of the volume, perhaps even more)
Triisononanoin (This I believe is what they use to try to get the mineral oil to absorb.. .)
Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate
Isopropyl Myristate
Retinyl Palmitate
Tocopheryl Acetate
Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil
Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil
BHT
Bisabolol
Parfum
Amyl Cinnamal
Benzyl Salicylate
Citronellol
Coumarin
Eugenol
Geraniol
Hydroxycitronellal
Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde
Limonene
Linalool
Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone
CI 26100

Bio-Oil is Preservative Free
Bio-Oil contains no preservatives. Microbes (bacteria, fungi and moulds) require the presence of water (or water vapour) and, in most cases, oxygen, to survive and proliferate.

Bio-Oil is anhydrous (no water present) making preservatives unnecessary as it is very difficult, if not impossible, for microbes to develop in this environment.

It's water soluble, so just dissolve it in a small amount of distilled water..(like a tsp or so), and then mix it into a compatible cream..

I've never used it, so I'd suggest you check out some ready made creams that contain it, see what the ingredients are, and look for a compatible base cream.

Correct, if you were to add this active to the bio oil it would become ineffective, basically because the oil would act as a natural buffer. To work Vitamin C generally needs to have some mechanism of exfoliation. Hope this helps Smile
