Hi, I have a good anti-aging skincare routine for the face but need one for the body. My skin is in good condition and want to keep it that way. I use a high spf everyday and have minimal sun exposure. I have seen a lot of women that have the leathery, age-spotted skin and would like to avoid that. I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! |

Stay out of the sun. Use sunscreen. Protect your chest so you don't get the prune look in your 50's. That is what I see so much of. Exercise to get blood flow throughout your body.
Read the no lipo lipo thread - buy the sisal mitt - it rocks (seriously - awsome purchase). and use it faithfully - the feeling is marvelous and the blood flow has got to be tremendous for the body - moving the blood and lymph and generating fresh oxygen to the areas throughout.

Same here!
I apply moisturizer on daily basis and I would love to use Vivier vitamin C 20% serum all over my body also, but I would probably need 100 1oz bottles for just one application! The cost would be high also.
I've been using JB Green Apple Peel on parts of my body and I noticed a huge difference! Using a self tanner during the summer season is fun or dabbing some jojoba oil on my legs, shoulder blades and arms. |

Like other posters said, use sun screen, exfoliate and moisturise your skin.
I would suggest jojoba and coconut oils as moisturisers, I mix one of them with my regular moisturiser (for example Aveeno lotion) or use only oil sometimes. Also a good healthy diet is important and try to get enough sleep every night. |

If you make a DIY C,E and ferulic serum you can afford to use it everywhere! I'm using mine on my face, neck, chest hands and arms. |

Hi Mishey,
If you don't mind, how do you make the DIY body serum? Where do you buy the products?
I was pretty happy to see this thread because I've been wondering about anti-aging for the body myself recently. The skin on my body is not as firm as it used to be and I notice that my arms are beginning to look crepey with some faint wrinkling on the forearms.
I'm pretty happy with the skin on my face, but then I've always taken pretty good care of my face whereas I just started moisturizing my body daily within the last few years (I'm 32). I've been trying to find a good product for the body for a while now and I've settled for Aveeno and Nivea Q10 Firming Creme. I sometimes do dry brushing also. These have improved the texture somewhat, but I'm very interested in products that can help build collagen and firm up skin on the body to help prevent further wrinkling/sagging. |

Hi KrazyKatLady.
I've posted links to a couple of threads. The first one is the C,E and Ferulic serum I make. It's Kassy_A's marvelous concoction. I double up on the ingredients as I'm not just using it on my face. You could even triple it if you want. You could make a triple batch and see how long it takes you to use it up and go from there.

I get my LAA, E oil and Ferulic Acid from Garden Of Wisdom and the SKB from NCNProskincare.
I love this serum. Good luck. |

I think exercise is a good way to keep your skin of the body youthful~
Fast walk for 30 minutes each day and you will find your skin of the body is getting tighter and tighter.
Also, protect yourself from the sun, use sunscreen product, and use body moisturer which really makes the skin smooth. |
