In one of his books, Dr. Perricone mentions a glove he has used with his patients - it uses electric current to tighten facial muscles, reduce sagging, etc.

Seems this idea vanished, for whatever reason.

Maybe he couldn't locate a cost effective manufacturer.

Anyone know anything about this device?

Thanks,BF

He could not perfect it the way he wanted so for now he aborted the idea. I purchased my Tua Viso eight months ago the president of the company told me that Dr. Perricone and his office manager each bought two Tua Visos and that is what they use. I asked him why they would each buy two and he said "That way they can do both sides of the face at the same time" He commented that quite a few people that do not consider money a problem will do that.

Very intersting about Perricone purchasing the TV for himself and a few others. His book always said that DMAE & microcurrent together were fabulous. If he purchased the TV, it can't be too bad! DiPhx

I would like to purchase the Tua Trend and alternate but the man that owns the company in Texas that sells both the Tua Viso and the Tua Trend is a real jerk. He yelled at me over the phone because I complained that I did not like his attitude and I ended up hanging up on him. The DYI Hut is a wonderful site to buy on but they do not carry the Tua Tread and I am not going to buy from Europe to much hastle so maybe that is an omen to just forget it. Bad Grin

I know what you mean about the crank in TX - when my first TV was a lemon, NCN was very good about sending me a replacement and I was supposed to send the original back - no problem.
Got the replacment from "regeneration" in TX
and sent the replacment back; however, the prepaid label that came with it could only be used to mail from Dallas so I paid to have the defective unit returned to Dallas. NCN was nice
enough to reimburse me for the postage for the defective unit. He also had a note that I was to return every single piece of the defetive unit (what would I need a duplicate pieces for anyway?)
He's one I would be little leary of purchasing from. Someone else may get them in eventually - it's just a matter of time! DiPhx

I will never do business with him again that is for sure. I am just addicted to gadgets! The Tua Trend does the same job as the Tua Viso but it is different in the respect that it can measure the thickness of a muscle and adjust to that. I do not know whether that would make it do a better job than Tua Viso or not.

Dr. Perricone is the only medical professional I've noted who advocates use of DMAE for the skin.

Anyone else notice this?

This sounds like a treatment I had when I was living in China. It was a machine that had two gloves attached by wires that the aesthetician massages the face with.

I had a treatment once a week for about 10 weeks. Can't say it did anything.

Have you tried Perricone Skincare? I did buy Advanced Firming Activator but I get pimples only with it.

Hi barefootgirl - I beleive Skinactives also
advocates using the DMAE for lifting and has
a 4% serum formulated for that specifically.

I use it and have been using it for 2 years
now. Don't know if it ahs helped or not but I guess the only way to find out is to stop using it and see if anyhting droops after that.
I also believe GOW also has a DMAE serum formulated as well. DiPhx

I use all Dr. Perricones skin care products and take his supplements as well. Before switching to Perricone I was using Revive and for as expensive as that is I did not see that much improvement, Perricone is not cheap but comparatively speaking it works just as well.

Isn't there a study showing that DMAE kills skin cells?
