Hi there Mars - if I were you I would stick to the normal strength 302 drops/serum if you are a new user and get used to that first. It takes patience!

302 plus serum is super powerful and I believe 302 recommend that you need quite a bit of experience with 302 drops/serum first.

Maybe talk to an esty?

302 is so different to any other skin care line I have know. It takes a lot of commitment and patience to get results - but the results are real, because you are actually getting your skin to behave differently. No quick fixes.

For me I am really getting results now, after 15 months. My skin has never looked better. The assistant in a high-end make up shop at the weekend told me, "I would show you this new foundation we have, but you don't need it, your skin is beautiful" ... waah! wow, I can hardly believe it - my skin has always been so problematic.

I am very grateful to Boski for sharing so much of her time to help us.

Hi, chickenlittle, I've been using 302 drops, C, and face bar for about 5 months now. In your opinion, is that too soon to "upgrade"?
I really appreciate your (and any) input.
Thank you. Smile

Hmmm, I'm confused. Anyone know if dry flaky skin is part of the "uglies"? I know pimples are but I'm starting to feel like a lizard who's peeling except my pores are very clogged.

Okay never mind what I just wrote, I went back and re-read a lot of the older posts and sure enough, Boski mentioned this as part of the transition, etc.

Under my eyes has always been a struggle. For years, I used to have a tube of Eucerin in my desk drawer to help re-blend in concealer and hide the dryness that crept in as the day went on. That's how bad this has been and how long it's been going on. So that's my "nemesis" there, my worse areas on my face (that and my nose & sometimes chin, used to Eucerin them lots too).

Hi Mars!

OK – well in my opinion (but bear in mind I am not an esty!), I would say to take a look at how your skin is responding now, and use that as your guide.

I’m assuming you are using 302 exclusively. If you feel that your skin is “normalised” and not acting up at all from previous treatments that might have disturbed your skins function (in my case this was copper & acids), then you could move up.

In your place though, I would wait until my skin feels truly stabilized with the current regime. As long as you feel reasonably happy with how things are now, I really feel there is no rush. It’s a matter of letting your skin take the lead and coaxing it into a new way of acting!

If you don’t feel quite ready to try the 302 Plus serum yet, you could try taking a 2 week break from 302 (just use the bar/cleanser, and Recovery Plus or a just a plain oil), then re-start your usual regime. Some of us, myself included, find that taking a 302 break at around the 6 month mark accelerates results.

Or you might want to consider the high potency 302 drops or serum. I have the drops and I really love them! They are stronger than the normal drops, but not as strong as the 302 Plus Serum.

Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes ...

I started using the 302 Skin Care line in late July. I have sensitive acne prone skin and currently use the Acne Cleanser (morning), Sensitive Skin Cleanser (evening), Acne Drops (3x per week), and A-boost (2x per week).

I am struggling with cystic acne and I am wondering if anyone here with cystic acne has been successful using 302.

Jennifer has recommended the Acne Serum so I will give that a try.

HI all,

Just a word of advice for users experiencing the uglies...I think it may just be a phase which should pass. I started in March and pretty much yo-yo'ed all the way through the minor improvements I saw. Breakouts, dry skin, blahness you name it... (stress of writing a thesis certainly didn't help!).

Anyway in the last 3 weeks or so, I suddenly saw a burst of improvement in my skin, it was as though it had improved up a noticeable threshold where it becomes quite obvious that it's been doing all the repairing all this while and I just wasn't sure. My skin seems to have regained that previous radiance, tighter pores and better moisture retention I had when I was 18. I'm still recovering from a bout of cystic acne breakout (due to thesis stress and eating crappy stuff more than anything else), but the skin is definitely looking younger.

I'm just over the moon! I don't think any other skincare could've made this difference. No my skin is far from perfect, but it looks stronger and healthier (like its pre-acid or early acid-use days). Might I add that the burst of improvements also only came after I slept well (meaning I sleep and wake up early) and ate well for a couple of weeks. In the past, I could have the same healthy lifestyle and wouldn't have been able to repair my skin to this extent. So my conclusion is that 302 is definitely doing something good, but it doesn't work in isolation. Rather, it works with synnergy through a healthy lifestyle!

This week I've been a tired/sleep-deprived mess, and usually my skin reflects this tiredness *very* obviously, rewards me with flakies and larger pores etc...but since recently, even when I was tired/sleep-deprived, I had nicer skin than before. Go figure!

So for those who have reached their 6 month milestone and are still experiencing problems, I think I would advise you to march on if you'd seen any sort of cumulative improvements along with some uglies. Things were problematic for me right up till the 6th or 7th month, and then it started improving dramatically. At this point, it looks like I'm not going to yo yo again, unless I get super-stressed again.

Hi, Thank you chickenlittle for your comments. I think my skin is very ready to move up. The texture on my chin is so rough. I'd just like to think the upgrade will make a difference.

Hey guys, I'm a 18 year old male in Canada looking to try out 302 Skin Care.

The main problems I have is redness around the nose and a huge problem with oilyness. I do still get acne but a lot of it is now scars. =(

I basically haven't used anything prescribed in a while. I have only been using spectro for spot treatment and washing once my skin gets to oily.

So I was wondering if I could get some advice since I hope to start in December maybe.

Please and Thank you. =)

I came to this forum about 6 to 8 months ago, because I was devastated with the horrible condition of my skin. I am 57, and had been using CP products for little more than a year. My skin had very prominent pores around and on the nose (T zone), had red patches, and was in bad shape. The ladies on this forum were so kind to me, and I eventually settled on using the 302 drops, along with Rita's infra red handheld lamp.

Wow....what a difference. And thank you Borski for the time you have invested in this forum educating people about 302.

My regime is as follows: I wash my face daily with the 302 bar soap (love it, use it as a body soap in the shower as well). In the morning after I shower, I spray on Calming Mist, followed with the 302 drops. Once a week, I give myself a treatment with Rita's prolight, infra red, that lasts about 30-40 minutes.

The results are: 1) noticeably improved skin texture, with visible reduction of pores around the nose area (something I never thought could happen; 2) baby soft skin; 3) redness all but gone...I use mineral base foundation makeup only for special occasions; and 4) a natural, healthy glow.

My skin has improved to such an extent, that my plastic surgeon's esthetician is now trying 302, and 2 other women in my office have started using 302.

I also have the C drops and A drops, but do not really use them. I think I will gradually start using these drops one evening per week each.

Rita's Pro Light Infrared, for me, is better than botox, which always gave me a droopy eye. Rita's Light has eased the vertical lines between my eyebrows and creases on my forehead to a noticeable degree. I apply the 302 drops before using the light, in the belief that the two act well together.

The 302 product or infrared may not work for everyone. I know some people have had tremendous success with CP products and Karen Herzog, while neither of these products were helpful for me. But, if you are desperate, give 302 a shot. I am so happy with the results.

Borski...thank you again a million times. I look like a new woman.

Hi, SkysLa. Smile

I don't know how much you know about 302, but 302 must be bought from a professional. I have been e-mailing and talking with Jennifer. I am having mind freeze and cannot remember the name of her salon. It's in the Chicago area. If you live near a salon or clinic that sells 302, great. If not, go the 302 site and contact them. They will put you in touch with someone who sells 302 in your area. If there is no one in your area, you will be able to do the phone/e-mail thing like I am doing. Your 302 specialist will talk with you to help you determine what you need. Good luck, and please keep us posted.

Hi Elvisshops,

I'm going to get in contact with a professional soon and since I'm in Ontario, I think itll have to be one in the US. Hopefully I can get into contact with Jennifer =). I think the site is called 21st century skincare? Hopefully I can do the phone/email consultations right to set myself up.

Thanks,

Hi there,

I've been looking at the 302 thread here and there, and am interested, however am wondering if the question ever got answered about Dr Huber's credentials etc? I find it worrying that Boski disappeared as soon as it was questioned, and that she has been heavily marketing elsewhere on the net. I saw the other thread has been shut down, and can't see where else to ask if he ever answered how he became a doctor. I think it would be dubious indeed if he was claiming to be a doctor - and then it came out he was'nt! I'd find it equally dubious that he had availed himself for so long to answer questions and is suddenly AWOL for this one.

If this can get cleared up, I'll feel more confident moving forward with my interest in 302.

Thanks in advance!! and also, I have no interest in discrediting here, just would need to know there's nothing fishy going on !!

Well, sadly, I stopped using 302 even though I know I didn't stick with it long enough. Sorry everyone...I just had too many bad days and maybe it just was not right for my skin. I'm envious for everyone else though. Smile

Just wanted to post that I couldn't be more pleased with my 302 journey. It will be a year in January since I started. The first couple months weren't great but not terribly bad. Twice I had pretty bad rosacea flares because I was being too aggressive in "messing" with my skin.

I found that a gentle approach for reactive skin was the way for me to progress. I felt disappointed that it would probably take a long, long time for me to see lasting results because I was using Rosacea drops 3xweek and CBoost 1xweek. But there was progress, some good days and some not great days but more good days.

In the past few months, I've had lots going on in my life and slacked off doing anything to my skin except wash and spray with 302 products. Maybe once a week I'd remember to put something on my skin at night.

My skin looks even better! The huge pores on my nose are almost non-existent, and the huge pores on my cheeks have totally disappeared. I was amazed that doing soooooo little could maintain/improve my skin instead of having my skin look like a wreck, full of clogged pores, from lack of using products regularly.

For me, I see lasting improvements to my skin, not improvements that last ONLY while you slather yourself with products.

I'm a happy camper but it definitely took some work and trial and error.

Same for me. Have been using 302 for a year and a half. Went thru a short weird period during the summer. Now I am down to only using the new 302 plus serum and two cleansers and my skin has taken a leap after slow improvement over the past year and half. Could not be easier or simpler. I am in heaven!

Hi trigger,

Questions re Dr Huber's credentials never did get totally cleared up as far as I can remember. But you can try emailing the company if it is a concern for you. I personally don't think there is anything fishy going on, but others feel strongly the other way. Your call.

I think the main thing is that this is a line that is quite potent for whatever reason, but seems to only work well for certain skin types. For those that don't have that skin type it naturally doesn't do much, for those that do, it has quite satisfying (and for some, incredible) results. It seems from other people's feedback here that you should be able to tell if it is working for you after 3-4 months. And mostly it seems to work for skin types that are congested, sensitive, rosacea, acneic.

Nancy from NCN sells it if you are interested. It isn't listed on her website though, you need to email her.

Good luck!

What an excellent post, neondaze. Very well said and I totally agree with you on your information! I think that will help a ton of people who may be interested in the line decide if it is right for them or not!

It might work best for those skin types but mine couldn't be further from that. My skin was dry with what I called orange peel skin, no breakouts. I'm 52 and wanted something to tackle the signs of aging with some sunspots. My skin is no longer dry and has smoothed out dramatically & spots lightened quite a bit with this 302 plus serum. I have to say that I've also discovered Josie Maran's tinted moisturizer. It makes my skin look perfect since I don't need much now that I'm so happy with how my skin looks. These are two products that I will never ever be without.

As far as this board goes, I used to love reading the posts and learned so much before it got nasty. For me, it's working great so I don't care about anything else and I'm so happy I found 302. It's a shame it had to take that road. Like everything else, not everything will work for everyone.

Well gosh I give up! I have no idea what kind of skin type it works for and why! Laughing
It is a total mystery! I guess that is why the line seems to attract so much flack from time to time.
So glad to hear that it is working for you estherms! I love the product too!

Hello,

I've been using 302 products since March.
My skin has never been better. I even have both my kids (young adults with acne using them with great results).
I agree that it's too bad this forum got so negative, only due to a few people that didn't like the product. Let's keep posting results, good and bad, in a professional way, and keep sharing our information.(Maybe our favorite girls will come back!!)
Why should a small group stop a great forum?
Keep posting and wishing you all healthy skin in the new year!!

Estherm--Is the Josie Maran tinted moisturizer compatible with 302? If so, I'd be interested. My understanding was that using 302 meant sticking to mineral-based sunscreens.

Would luv a tinted, moisturizer that would work with my sensitive skin+302!

I didn't do a thorough check of the ingredients but I do know that it has 100% argan oil in it. (which is why you have to REALLY shake it before using it. So far after using for a couple of weeks, I've had no problems. I don't know what could be in it to not be compatible with 302.I have been trying to stay away from parabens for the past two years and have used mineral makeup for maybe 5. This morning, I finally cleared out all my mineral makeup except for eyeshadows. Between the TM & my rediscovery of tarte blush. I am in heaven. Healthy looking skin that doesn't look greasy or matte. Plus quick & easy. The only thing I could suggest to you is what I did. Go to a Sephora if you can, and ask for a sample of the two closest colors you think you are. I am wearing butter.

Oh they carry Josie Maran at Sephora!?

Might be worth a try, I'm bananas about argan oil and have been using it regularly with 302, especially in the winter.
