That is somewhat common Castor oil is known as a "drying" oil because it is purgative. Many use a lower % of Castor oil than 50% especially those with dryer skin. It also depends on how your own skin reacts I have normal skin and am fine with a 50/50 mix. It comes down to trial and error to find your perfect mixture in the beginning. |
Yes, I know, that's why I was mentioning it. A previous poster had said that her skin was irritated after using castor oil, so I thought this information might be helpful. |
