I've been using Obagi-C systems for a couple of weeks now. I keep a calendar and monitor daily the results and changes. I actually do notice a difference in texture. My complexion looks brighter. I am in my forties and already look younger than my age due to my Asian genes. I have a lot of freckles. They've never bothered me. I bought the line in hopes it would help with the enlarged pore problem I have. I do think this line improves hyperpigmention, lightens freckles gradually. We'll see how my skin looks in ten weeks. I'm undecided about trying microdermabrasion to help with enlarged pores. Any suggestions out there? My feeling is: Why spend hundreds of $$ on microdermabrasion, when I can use it towards products. Does it work?

I have a friend using the C series now and her skin is experiencing the peeling in the first week of using the product and looks quite bright.
I am on Nu derm for three weeks now, and very eager to know when the peeling will start.

Somayvr, I've had microdermabrasions in the past and while they are great for exfoliation they did nothing for the size of my pores. I've been using Obagi Nuderm for several weeks and while my skin is much healthier and clearer, the size of my pores have not changed.

I've never used Obagi, but I do use Retin-A. I also think microdermabrasion treatments are worth it - they really refine the skin. I'm actually so impressed I've ordered a home-microdermabrasion machine. Why not just have one treatment and see what you think?

Microdermabrasion will not tighten your pore. You need to have some IPL treatment to get the pores smaller. However, you probably need a series of treatments for it to last one to two years. It depends on how much you care about the enlarge pore.

This is just my personal experience... I've had a series of IPL treatments a few years ago. They were great in terms of treating superficial hyperpigmentation but did nothing for the size of my pores. I've yet to find that miracle cream, serum, or treatment; but goodness knows, I would love to!!
