hello all
I have tried a few foundation primers, but the best one has got to be Bare Escentuals foundation primer. I find that it doesnt dry out and it provides a smoother base for the foundation.
Has anyone got any reviews for primers? |

Believe it or not, Monistat anti-chafing makes a great primer! There have been a few discussions here on the boards in the past.
It is smoothing and long-lasting, also cheap! |

I like BE's primer as well. Smashbox's is good too.
I am really curious though as to who thought of putting Monistat on their face in the first place. I have heard of this before and I am sure it works but who woke up one morning and thought, m perhaps this would work as a primer, lol. |

I like Dr. Hauscka rejuvenating mask, Decleor and
PSF has some great ones with HGH's for good moisturizers. |

I second the Cle de peau. It's very matte. Give you a bit of a white out effect but that disappears after you apply your foundation. I have oily skin with large pores and I'm prone to breakouts and this works the best for me. It's expensive but it's worth it. |

I think Cle de peau primer is nice. However, it will give your makeup a more pale look. Right now, I am using Laura Mercier Foundation primer. It comes in two formats the regular and the hydrating. I tried the hydrating one in Sephora. I think it is too thick for me to put under makeup. So, I end up choosing the regular primer. It is quite good for me now. |

I've heard great things about Monistat anti-chafing gel.
My skin hates silicone so primers don't work for me. |

I use Bare Escentuals primer. When I put it on my face my skin look and feel so smooth. It really does make a difference when I put this on with my foundation. When I don't use it my foundation always looks uneven. |
