Hello,
I am wondering if anyone as used fillers for acne scarring on their cheeks. I am thinking about getting Artecoll injections for my scarring, but am so nervous. I would appreciate any kind of comments or suggestions in this area. |

hi. i've not had artecoll but i've had juvederm for it. i found the only ones that really responded favorably were the widest and deepest scars. for me, these weren't actually acne scars but scars left by excisions that went wrong. in my experience, i wouldn't recommend it for just any scarring, and particularly the shallower, smaller, widespread variety. perhaps it was just me, however. |

Hi Cadillac,
I have two shallow acne scars on my left cheek that I had filled with restylane. In my opinion, it didn't really help a great deal plus if you get a bit too much filler, it ends up looking much like a blemish. I've tried this on two occasions without a lot of success, but that's just my personal experience and opinion.
Artecoll may be different. Have you consulted with a derm or plastic surgeon? Getting a professional opinion might be helpful. Good luck! |

Cadillac, could you tell us a little more about your scars. How many? Are they very deep? |

I have pitted acne scarring on both cheeks. I want fast results as i have tried everything from lasers to peels. I am thinking about getting artesense... a filler. I would try a derma roller but am wary of it as nothing ever seems to work. Any suggestions..??!! |
