Does anyone have any recipes or links for recipes for conditioning/nourishing eyelash serums?
I am noticing my lashes getting a little bit brittle feeling - probably from lumigan use, so I thought I'd add some sort of conditioning serum in the AM to counteract, but they are all really expensive. I read castor oil is good...but thought I'd see if anyone had tried anything else. |

Hi, I use castor oil, and I also use emu oil. I just put a dab in my palm, coat a clean mascara brush with the oil, and apply to my lashes at night. Even if you are using Lumigan every night, you can still use the oil for the conditioning factor. It works beautifully!

I use Ardell lash & Brow conditioner. It is a thick gel that is applied like mascara. I have my lashes tinted as I am very blonde. It works well and it less than $10.00 cdn at Trade Secrets. It contains castor oil and other ingredients.
I had used Castor oil before getting this conditioner. The Ardell is much easier to use. |

I've been using a blend of ceramides (from gow), castor oil, squalane, and meadowfoam seed oil. |

As a side-effect of sorts from using OCM, I have found that a blend of jojoba and castor oils really help condition my eyelashes and encourage growth. Though I have stopped using OCM, I have continued to condition my lashes with these oils by applying with a clean mascara brush. Cheap and effective, though it doesn't work for everyone. Worth a try, though!
The linked DIY conditioner sure looks tempting... |
