Sister does the bone still atrophy if you get a dental implant after having the tooth removed? |
Mishey,,
A dental implant will keep the bone directly around it viable. Yes, it helps a lot. With a denture there is no "root" as there is with an implant fixture. That's another benefit of implants - not as good as natural root but much better than none at all. |

Critic - In a previous post you stated something to the effect you did not feel that the befores and afters of facial exercise were adequate to judge the quality of the result.
This is why I asked to see the befores and afters of bone massage. If it's a quality program with good result, there naturally should be the befores and afters so we can see a good result which will validate the program.
Thanks. |

And Mishey - also the crown (on the implant) and the chewing motion is what will keep the bone cells actively renewing. You need the pressure - to help with the resorption and renewal process of the bone. |

As I don't know Japanese, otherwise, I do believe it is easy to find some before/after photos as the program is popular in Japan.
The books has included many before/after masks from people who used the service. Each include a description/story of why that person is using their services. The result seems amazing from the photos.
I have not started to view the DVD, perhaps can include more insight after viewing it.
As said in my previous posting, I have a friend who tried this bone massage many years ago, I personally believe it will work. However, she did in in spa, and we are talking about DIY. |

Yukuko Tanaka looks absolutely fabulous for any age..but for age 65 her physical beauty is amazing.
But does anyone know if is she supposed to still be a 'natural' beauty...meaning no 'work' done...like fat transfers, surgery, fillers, botox, etc.?
If so I would love to know so much more about what she does to look so physically stunning. |
Absolutely agree - even her hands are those of a 20 something... |

Critic - why don't you post your before and afters here and tell us about what your doing. I'd love to know what your doing and how you look, I bet you look fantastic.
The before and afters on the website seem to show though not people's before and afters, but kind of a mask (unless I'm looking in the wrong place)?
Can we order the book/dvd from anywhere else. That site is all in chinese and I can't read it!

And, you don't have to worry about how I look like, you will be shock if you see my photo, and I bet you will beg me to tell you how can I do that, as I have people asking for my tips over and over when they know my real age. |

I believe the masks are masks of actual people's faces(probaly some material placed over their face which then hardens into a 'mask') taken before and after they completed the program |

Really?? Thats strange. I would love to see photos before and afters I mean, of people who have done it rather than masks. I don't know why it makes me a little skeptical of it if they aren't showing the real person. How do we know they are both done from the same person?

Just want to reinterate that there are two different massage techniques discussed on this thread (well, now, actually three. if we count the 'scraping' technique).
Aside from the newly introduced scraping technique, there is:
A. The lymphatic/connective tissue massage with the beautiful Ms. Tanaka ('the black hat lady')....with a video that is pretty clear to follow w/o speaking the language...although, of course, more understanding of the massage movements.. and the 'essence' of the protocol.. is always more supportive and greatly appreciated.
B. The actual BONE FACIAL EXCERCISES...which are what I am so very interested in...and it seems like the only way to get the actual techniques involved in this massage.. (although thank you so much Critic for more explanation of the technique..and the before and after face masks of the people doing the massage)...is to download the book is Chinese or Japanes...since there is no video of the diy technique online and no translation in English (is this correct Critic?) |

Sean, I believe Critic has been doing the lymphatic/connective tissue massage for around 4 months....
but only got the bone facial exercise program at the beginning of October...
and has said she would post more as she experienced the results...
personally i'd like to see what the results are like for the bone facial exercise program after more time has lapsed...
but if, Critic, if you are comfortable/ willing to take photos now... and again when you feel progress has been made through the bone face exercise program..that would be great for me....
meanwhile I wish I could speak Chinese or Japanese so I could be doing this technique myself..and see my own results (like I have with the Ageless technique) |

Oh ok I didn't realise that. I'm all up for lymphatic and connective tissue massages - both are truly powerful tools that I believe have been overlooked for a great deal of time, and cranials too.
I also agree with you - the Chinese/Japanese stuff looks informative - I wish I could read it.

Yes, correct! The first mask has marked the starting date and the 2nd mask has the completion date of the program. I have seen it usually takes few months. |

According to her book : she does massage on her hand. She takes good care of her whole body, she always check in the mirror and see if her body will look good in every angle. |

Yes, I have started lymphatic/connective tissue massage for around 4 months. I have viewed the bone massage DVD last night, very briefly as I have 2 kids to taking care. I don't understand Japanese but I bet if you have a book and DVD, you basically will understand what to do with your 2 hands. In each demo, the model will show you how to do it just with 2 hands, or how you can do it in the office. To be honest, I am not sure if you can see result as quickly as "black hat lady" one.
My face is not for selling a program and I don't own any beauty business, it does not make sense by sharing my before/after pictures. I don't have to lie here about how young do I look, the compliment is from people what first meet me, or they chat with my staff to find out my real age. There are 50 people working in the office, 90% are girls and I am the 2nd oldest in the office. These girls always peek what do I eat for lunch (to avoid MSG and bad oil, I bring my lunchbox everyday).
Massage is a little part of my daily beauty routine, maybe 10%% the other 90% is taking very good care of my health and body. If you are interested, I have shared some tips in my other topic about Chinese food therapy. |

I forgot to mention that Tanaka (black hat lady) facial massage book has sold 1,000,000 copies in Japan. Her body massage book sold 600,000 copies. |

I personally only wanted to see photos to see what you have achieved so far, and also was curious as to how you look (and believe you probably did get comments about how well you look) with all that your doing.
I find the masks a little hard to believe - I have to be honest, but wonder if the masks produce such results, why they can’t show the real life photos of people who have done them. The masks look extremely different - whose to say that they aren’t in fact different people.
What kind of massage does she do on her hands - I need to start doing that - oh I wish I spoke Japanese/Chinese. Also is there a place we can order them from in the US? I don’t read Japanese/Chinese and that website is all in Japanese.

Just one more comment...

Regarding your comment, I 100% agree with you, Critic, that it's important that we be able to voice our criticisms and we not be censored for it or discouraged from doing so. And I really appreciate you sharing all your comments and criticisms.
However....I think there is a fair way to be equally critical of a program, without being mean or hurtful on top of that. I have to say, what you said about Deb was unintentionally but nonetheless clearly mean and hurtful. Honestly, if you called my mom "horrible looking" (and my mom is Deb's age but doesn't look nearly 10% as good as Deb), I would be absolutely livid and furious at you and hurt. So I think Claudia is totally justified in calling your comment "out of line", and you are missing the point: she isn't squashing your opinion, but merely calling you out for doing so in such a mean way.
I think a better way is just to be just as critical of a program but without being hurtful is to say something like "I didn't think so-and-so looked very good for her age" or "I think based on the way so-and-so looks, I think doing the program would be worse than doing nothing" rather than "so-and-so looks horrible"--to me, these comments say the same thing but without being hurtful.
Just my two cents... |
