Please share your experiences regarding any procedures you've had performed and whether you would do it again.

I will kick this off:

Botox and Dysport - upper face, would do it again

Fillers - in tear troughs, dramatically changed my look to much more youthful

Yag Laser treatment on a vein on my temple - no, not worth the money.

Nothing else...yet.

Botox - a definite must for a deep '11'. Have done this for a couple of years and the crease (that should've had a filler) is diminishing. My injector also uses it on some crow's feet and as a brow lift. Wonder if the Safetox would prolong the Botox(yearning for that gadget)

Fillers - used in tear troughs and gave me a dark bluish color (side effect) - will not use again. Am using the Easy Eye Tuck and the TT's look smooth. Also used fillers in the laugh lines a few years ago and have not needed to get it there again. Thinking my CPs have helped there for me.

Had seriously thought about an upper bleph a few years back (hereditary hooded lids that were sagging from age) and have been able to put that idea aside as the skin has firmed up (CPs again)

Yikes, a moment of truth thread! I'll try to remember all of them:
Upper and lower Bleph (love, love, love!!)
CO2 laser (alot of pain for little gain)
Microdermabrasions (7-9) (always great)
IPL's (6-7) (hit or miss, but usually hit)
Fraxel (huge waste)
Restylane (2 times on nasolabial area)
Juvaderm (2-like more than resty)
Peels (10 or more, good results)
Cool Touch Laser (5, total waste of time/money)
Botox (always good, always worth it)
Facials (some good, some with breakouts)
Yag Laser (specific vein treatment, good)
Cauterization (for shrinkage of sebaceous hyperplasia, worked well)
Baby Q (still on the fence about)
I think that is all!
I have a friend who is a med/derm/doc and has a med spa, so I do try out a lot of stuff!

Botox 3 times - love it even though it doesn't last more than 2 months. I had it for my 11 and for a mild brow lift.

Artecoll 6 years ago in the NL lines - love it and it still looks great.

Radiesse 4 months ago in the marionette lines - I'm kind of on the fence with this. The area does look better but only by about 50%.

Blu-U with Levulan for acne and oily skin - I did it 6 times with a cost of over $1000 and it didn't help at all.

I'm planning on getting Juvaderm or Restylane soon to see if I can get a better correction in my marionette lines.

I think tear troughs make such an amazingly huge difference. I haven't had it done myself, but I've seen before and afters and it is amazing how such a small procedure makes a huge difference in conveying youth. I think it would be worthwhile to have them permanently filled with fat; I know the Japanese are doing some stuff with stem cells and fat injections that is intriguing, but quite pricey!

Hi all,
My experiences thus far:

*Botox I have this injected in forehead and crow's feet area. I think it makes a huge difference in my appearance (and confidence!)

*Juvederm I have juvederm injected into my upper lip's outline area. It completely restores the shape of my upper lip and helps to support the area between my nose and mouth. I personally believe this is why I have no "lines" in this area. My doctor also injects a "tad" of Botox there as well.

*IPL This procedure is great for broken caps and it helps a great deal with superficial hyperpigmentation. Like everything else, the results are not permanent.

*Restylane Had this injected in cheekbone area to add a little "lift". This filler did nothing for me and dissipated very quickly!

*Facials/Microderms These are great for pampering and exfoliating!

Botox - Couldn't live without it.
Esthelis - Great undereye hollow filler. No lumps or blue hue.
Fat injections to face years ago when it first came out. I was only 25 then. Huge regret. Left me with lumps near my mouth and fatty jowels that nothing has been able to improve. Tried lipo and kenalog injections. Face exercises haven't been able to help these areas either. Seems it's become scar tissue. Am getting a lower and maybe mid face lift to try and address it. Sad
Silicone BA - Love it!
Lipo to waist and back - Love it!
Urbium Yag laser - Liked the result but long down time. Wouldn't do it again though.
Chemical peels - Loved them.
IPL's - Not too happy with them for the cost.
Using the dermaroller and AALS - Love both of them.
Whew! Alot more than most at 43 I guess.
