I have used these a few times - I wouldn't say I saw any anti ageing results but they say on the pack they are collagen masks, I can't get them in the UK unless they are on Ebay so I haven't used them long term.
Anyway have a look at this link and see what you think:

I've bought these masks a couple of times:
http://www.elandra.com.au/intensive_collagen_gel_face_masks.php
They're an Australian product too - the woman lives in Caloundra. What I like about them is that the actual mask is like a giant sticking plaster that really grips your face, unlike other sheet masks. The price turns me off a bit. In addition, those in the know say that topically applied collagen products are ineffective - but I don't know enough about that to know whether that is the case or not.
I'm currently using the Olay Regenerist ones that are readily available from the supermarket and Priceline.
BTW, my skin is definitely looking better post the Timepeel treatments. |

Thanks Photoqueen and Keilu. I think I will give the supermarket ones a go then see what they do. The ones In Oz look good Keilu and I supposed at just over $12.00 a mask they are not too bad.
My skin felt tight and stingy after using the Timepeel so it definitely did something |

Found the info on why collagen doesn't penetrate the skin - apparently the molecules are too large to go through the skin barrier.
I've spoken to the Elandra lady on the phone in the past and she's very helpful - she might even give you a deal if you ask. If you do talk to her, you might want to ask her about the collagen molecule thing and see what she says - as I said before, I love the way the masks bind to the skin, they're excellent.
I've also tried the SKII ones, but they're about $20 each. For the money, the Olay ones are great and I think the ingredients in them are beneficial. |

Hi
is there any down time from microdermabrasion? How does it compare to a peel? |

There is no down-time at all. Your skin may be a little red for a few hours, but that's all. There is no follow-up peeling as there would be with a peel. |
