Hi Eler,

i wax my hair, it's not as effective as electrolysis, but not as scary. It only takes 3 minutes if even that to wax your upper lip or chin area and it's much cheaper than electrolysis. As for the skincare line, I greatly recommend Phytomer, Dermalogica and Cellcosmet.

Hello,
There is a wonderful product sold in many health food stores called "moom" which I use for facial hair and I highly recommend it. It is a sugaring product. You heat it for about six seconds in the microwave and you're all set to get rid of ugly facial hair. It is fast. I have extremely sensitive skin and have had no reactions to this product. It is all natural. I have been using it for over a year.

Facial hair: lovely! We all have things about ourselves that we're not crazy-about, but for the most part, we're the only ones who notice these "flaws. For example: I am blond, but wax my upper lip anyhow, because I don't like the fine hair (that no one can see anyhow!).

Depilatory cremes from the drugstore, I've tried. They stink, irritate the skin, and are essentially burning the hair off your face. Plus, I've found that the hair grows back a bit more coarsely. Waxing, on the other hand, leaves you smooooooth, and as the hair is being taken from the follicle, the regrowth is slower and more-fine.

Other options may be to consider electrolysis (permanent) or laser hair removal.

Is the appearance of hair on your face related to hormones, do you think? Many women experience this, perimenopausal or into menopause. Some even before this, heridiatarily or because of poly-cystic ovaries. If this is troublesome, perhaps inquire with your physician about this.

As for skincare, you've come the right place, honey!! You haven't described your skin's tendancies or your concerns other than the lines that you're starting to see, so it's hard to determine what to suggest. You may want to try something like Kinerase, the Skinceuticals serums, or other alternatives.
