Hi all - I am new to the forum. Quick question. I have been using decleor which I love (the Baume de Nuit and Neroli oilt). However I would like to try Obagi. I don't have any major spots, only just a tinge starting in my upper lip area. I was thinking I would try the Clear and Exoderm and keep a Decleor Balm or Flower Cream as a moisturizer. Does any one have experience mixing lines? What was the outcome?
Hope to keep posting to forum-it's such a great way to share info! |

I always mix lines. Dont be fooled into 'you have to use the entire line', its just a way for companies to sell more.
I dont believe one line meets all needs for most people. |

I don't think you'll have a problem mixing lines. I used some obagi with other lines. The only thing you want to look out for is too much harsh products on at the same time, i.e. acids & retin a. |

I have been mixing products from different lines for years, one line never has every product I need or I may not care for one thing in a line.
This has been a marketing ploy with the cosmetic industry forever, just to sell you more of their product! They try to convince you their products only work at their best in conjunction with the whole line. Do not buy into the bunk!
IMHO

Thank you to GirlieG MarieIG and Darkmoon. Guess it makes sense - but now I am reassured!

I always mix and match product lines. And don't be fooled...you don't have to use anyones entire line to see results! Myself use 6 or 7 different products all from different lines! |

I use juice beauty and cellex-c and I think it works great together. I always try out samples when I come by them. You never know, you might try something that works better on your skin. Always keep your options open. |
