Dear cap, do read the Easy Eye Solutions thread. We have found something really great for your problems. Hope it works for you, too. |

I'm not advocating picking at your own skin since you might scar....but I had a milia (only one I've ever had) and I didn't know what it was for a long time, it got a bit bigger and was annoying the crap out of me bc it was close to my lower eye and my eyeliner would migrate to it and highlight it. I'm too broke to try to find creams for this problem, didn't want to put acid that close to my waterline, and really didn't feel like paying a Dr a lot of $ I don't have to spend to do something that would probably be equally as damaging as whatever I would do. So I took a very sharp brand new sewing needle I put in some rubbing alcohol and carefully pricked into the center of the milia. Then I gently coaxed the stuff inside (keratin I think) out just until there was no more in there but no blood was coming out. I washed the area and put neosporin on it for 2 days. It looked a tiny bit worse for about a day and a half and then healed up very fast with absolutely no scarring whatsoever. I couldn't have asked for better results.
I just thought I'd share my successful experience, might not be the best option for you.
As far as the tear troughs...I saw some people mentioning the plumping effects of avocado oil if applied to lips/tear troughs/etc at night and left overnight. I haven't tried it myself but might be worth a shot. Obviously a temporary fix, but cheap and without a laundry list of potential side effects. |
