I've been getting more and more whiteheads around my chin over the last few weeks and can't work out what's causing them. Could it be silicone in the products? I've had the odd one before but not like this. Any ideas? Also ideas on getting rid of them. One suggestion has been OCM but that will probably take some time. |

Yes, silicones can cause this. Check on any new additions to makeup/skincare/ diet.
I like to keep on hand Stridex Maxium strength, alcohol free pads. They are cheap and easy and contain salycitic acid. (I'm not going to spell check, I lost my message last time I tried). |

Silicone based products always clog my pores.
I would use BHA to help clear them up. I'm a fan of Paula's Choice liquid 2% BHA. I also like DDF sulfur mask. |

Thanks GirlieGirl and MarieIG. I thought BHAs would be my best bet and, believe it or not, just bought the PC one. I've just used it twice so far. Do you think that will be enough or should I use anything else as well? I'm almost at the stage where I want to take a scalpel to them!! |

Yes missanna thats all you need. I get them too and one swipe of PC's liquid BHA before I go to bed and its gone the next morning. This is all you need for clear skin. |
