So what do you like best, an eye cream or gel?

To me this largely depends on the skin around the eyes. If it's dry then cream is best, if you need less moisturisation then gel is good.

I used gels before and liked them but now that I've started to develop 'bags' I've stwitched to creams and find them much better. Gels are great for young skins

I gel. I have oily eyelids (part of my oily t-zone) and I don't have dark circles or wrinkles (for now) so the gel is more for preventative measures going forward. Very Happy

Mabsy recommended I give Orlane B21 Oligo Cooling Balm Eye Contour a try and now I'm hooked. Embarassed

I tried the Cellcosmet sample sent over from EDS with my last order, but it was too rich for me. Sad It made the area under my eyes oilier. I do plan to use it in the future if my eyelids become dry.

I love creams. Its pretty consistent with what others have said. I have "mature" dry skin so my skin just drinks up rich creamy moisturizers. I know its good when my eyelids still feel slightly moist in the morning. Smile

Ditto on the eye cream.

Gels tend to get sticky on me and make my crows feet more pronounced.

When I first started using eye products, I used gel in the morning and cream in the evening but I didn't find the gel moisturising enough so I started using eye creams in the morning as well. Things have changed a lot since. My skin has become drier since I've started using vit c serums and AHA so I'm now using richer eye creams with spf in the morning.
