Retin A micro is timed released, so although you using 0.1% it will release it throughout the night from when you apply it from its gel based solution, so you don't get the side effects that you would do using a 0.1% cream, where it hits the skin with 0.1% straight off. |

Thank you - do you think this is the best form of retin-A? |

I think it is if your skin can tolerate it, but not everyone is good with starting off at such a high strength, and would be better to work up to it. I think it is available in weaker strengths than the 0.1% but you need to speak with your derm to get a prescription for it. |

Retin A micro is also supposed to be less irritating to the skin, and I definitely prefer it for my face. If you find the .1% to be too high, you can always find a weaker strength like SeanySeanUK mentioned. I started with .05% on my face and worked my way up. |

Thank you all so much! I was using Retin-A 0.05% for a year, so this is a good transition. |
