BLACK PLUM MINI BRUSH SET

Bobbi's Black Plum Mini Brush Set is a must-have for Christmas. Includes six travel-ready brushes designed with professional-quality brush heads and mini handles: Mini Angle Eye Shadow, Mini Face Blender, Mini Foundation, Mini Eye Sweep, Mini Concealer, and Mini Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brushes. A soft, zip around black plum faux-leather case protects the brushes for years of use.

Sigh...

Yeah I know...but thing is, I already have a few other mini brushes from BB so this looks perfect to sit together with the minis I already got.

Oh well. Will let y'all know IF I cave and run to BB and buy it this weekend Razz

Last year, Bobbi Brown had a friends and family 20% off sale in early December. I haven't seen anything about it this year, but it might be worth waiting to see if they'll do it again this year.

You can get excellent quality brushes from Lumiere thru thier pre buy sale. They usually do it once a year. This will be the 3rd year I buy brushes. The only down side is that you do have to wait a while for them. They have all the detail listed on the site.

Also I agree that Paulas Choice has nice brushes.

I know...BB brushes are my favorites. (Although probably all the Estee Lauder owned company brushes are of good quality) I bought the entire long handled set ages ago...superb!

Sorry I cant compare them but I use the Lumiere brushes with non-mmu, since I only use MMU foundation. I have heard others say that the skunk brushes are comparable to MAC's. Lumiere has a forum over on delphiforums, you may find some comparisons there. HTH.

Oh gee's I tend to be long winded but I will try to compare a couple brushes for you from Lumiere. Last year on pre-buy I got the 2 duo fiber brushes on a whim thinking of they were junk at least they were cheap......... I can't compare to BB brushes, but I can sure compare to MAC & several other high end brands. The large Lumiere duo fiber brush is almost identical to MAC 187, but to some degree it might even be better. MAC's tend to flake off a bit, mine has since it was new which is disappointing for such an expensive brush. Lumiere large or small duo fiber does not flake at all & extremely pleased with them both. I use MAC liquid stiduo fix foundation & the 187 type brush is the only one I will ever use for it. Looks airbrushed, even on my old 49 y/o skin. The small duo fiber is great for blush, with the duo fibers you are more in control of the amount you let the brush pick up. I can't compare any of the other Lumiere brushes but based on my experiance with these 2 brushes & their prices........ go for it if you need brushes, it would be money well spent PLUS money well saved on more expensive brushes.
