I have been using this product for approximately the last 6 months and I feel compelled to write a review on this great product.
Just a bit of background on me, I'm 31 with combination skin (dry/dehydrated on my cheeks and a slightly oily t-zone). I eat quite well and always drink at least 2lt of water each day.
Earlier this year, I decided that my skincare regime wasn't doing anything special so I purchased a couple of Priori products - the Perfection Facial Gel and this product, the Barrier Repair Complex. I wasn't sure how my skin would react, but so far, its only done wonders.
The Perfection Facial Gel is a clear serum which I use at night time to help calm my t-zone and I use this Barrier Repair Complex both at night and in the morning as a moisturiser.
On the Priori website it says:
Contains 2% LCA Complex (1% Lactic Compound + 1% MFAS) plus a fortifying epidermal complex composed of natural skin lipid bi-layer components including ceramides, cholesterol and essential fatty acids. All combined in a silky emulsion designed to enhance skin moisturization by providing essential skin nutrients that strengthen and help repair skin barrier function. Excellent for sensitive skin and mature dry skin to replenish and revitalize impaired skin. pH 3.8
It comes in a pump bottle. I only need one pump of the liquid which is white and a bit thicker than a serum consistency. It smooths over my skin and immediately melts into it. It does not make my skin greasy nor dry but seems to help the areas on my face that need moisture.
The only thing I don't like is that you can't see how much product is left in there and you can't open it when you have finished and scrape any left over bits out.
At one stage during winter, I thought I needed a bit of extra moisture so I stopped using this and went back to my Caudalie moisturiser but I found this product in my cupboard again and started using it and now I don't think I can stop using it again as my skin looks very radiant. |

I didn't know what MFAS was either - sorry, I just pulled that piece of info from the Priori website.
In the past I have tried the Remergent DNA Repair and I think its a similar texture/feel to this Priori one. Its sort of like a serum but a bit more creamier so it provides moisture too. |

Hi is the AHA in the product ok to use in the morning? Would it not make your skin extra sensitive to sunlight? |

I think it would be OK to use in the morning just be sure to use a good sunscreen over it. |

I always use my Invisible Zinc sunscreen and my Jane Iredale mineral makeup on top so I assume that I've got sufficient coverage during the day. I did just purchase the Priori sunscreen so I'm waiting for that to arrive in the post and will do a review on that one too. |
