Okay, after seeing the build your own holiday special, I am really itching to order this, especially since most of my skincare products are geared toward acne issues and I need some anti-aging products.

I am 32 years old and am just starting to see slight loss of firmness in my skin and some fine lines. Shock I guess what I am looking for is a product that is heavy on prevention with at least a little bit of treatment. Would ADCE be a good product to accomplish these things? Would it be beneficial for me to use the Prep also? I have read a lot about ADCE's ability as a treatment product, but what is the opinion in regard to prevention? I really am uneducated on the anti-aging side of skincare; most of my efforts have been aimed at acne control, so any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks Exclamation

wave Tina,
I have just started using ADCE with the Skin Prep. So far I love what it does with the texture of my skin. I do feel that I need to use a moisturizer with them for my dry skin. I fortunitely don't have a problem with acne. I am sure that there are others on this forum that can answer your question better. In my opinion I would suggest that you could use the ADCE in the areas were you my be forming wrinkles and fine lines.
I would contact JB and I am sure that they can recommend products that will target your needs.
I hope this helped a little.

hi Tina

From my rather humble understanding Im not actually sure whether or not ADCE would be the best preventer. Dont get me wrong, my mum uses this and thinks its wonderful - and I know there are plenty of others on here which do the same. But I think ADCE is an aggressive product, and given your age, Im not sure if Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is the ingredient for you - yet that is. But to be absolutely honest Im not 100% sure about this.

Being a big Sircuit fan, I would recommend their Vitamin C therapy serum, especially if you also have acne because from what Ive heard Vitamin C can help acne and acne scarring. Also, if you wanted to address your loss of firmness, I would try their firming antioxidant serum. I warn you now, that they are pricy, but you can try samples first before committing yourself. Their website iswww.sircuitskin.com

farouk- are you a pre-med student? I am a chemical engineer major, and was thinking about going to med school. But decided to stick around engineering.

tinamarie8,

My daughter is 35 and loves AlphaDerma CE and Prep. You mentioned that you are starting to see a lose of firmness. AlphaDerma and Prep will address the firmness of you skin and fine lines. It contains Argireline to relax fine lines and wrinkles and prevent further ones, Vit. C at 5% as an antitoxant, DMAE to firm and tighten, Elastin, Collagen to support the skin, UVB protection of 15 and Soy which I find great for hydration. Of course it contains other ingredients but these are the ones that impress me. The Prep is awesome as a base for any product you use to help that product deliver to the max.

My daughter applies ADCE and Prep on her whole face at night. During the day she uses the Prep on entire face and ADCE in the areas that she is starting to get fine lines (forehead, eye area) and then her moisturizer of choice. After the birth of her two babies she is really happy with the results.

I really don't think you can go wrong with it and your skin will feel so good.

Well, I'm no derm but I think that it would be a good product to use. I don't think Argireline treatments are agressive products - at least not the ones that have been discussed on this forum so far. I'm 27 and I do use it (although not every day - but that has do to with other issues). I think being younger you are less likely to see a dramatic positive effect from any Argireline product, but I hope that it's actually doing something to prevent future frown lines.
