The Tarte Crown Jewels Lipgloss Multi-Gift Set is amazing! 5+++ out of 5 stars. It's a gift set of 15 lipglosses made so that you can give as one extravagant gift, three cute gifts, or even 15 separate gifts. I bought the kit to give two sets away as gifts and keep one for myself. I loved them so much I ended up keeping all three sets, and then ordered 4 more sets to give to all my girlfriends for X-mas. The lipglosses are gorgeous on.
While they don't advertise to be plumping, they leave my lips looking plump and full. The texture is nice, not too sticky and more like a balm. Indeed, my lips feel like I've been wearing a high-quality lip balm. Unlike some other lip glosses and plumpers, there is absolutely no dryness during or after wear. They are fairly long-lasting--about 4 hours between applications. The taste is pleasant with a hint of fruit. There are a lot of beneficial ingredients.
The set comes in three groupings: a natural shades set, a clear set with a hint of color and very fine glitter/shimmer, and a rich-colored shimmery set with mixed reds and plums. Each set has two or three colors that look amazing on me just as they are. The other colors look wonderful layered over a stain or lipstick.
I have not been crazy about Tarte's lipgloss products in the past (e.g., Borba), but these are not like any past glosses that I've tried.
Finally, the packaging is beautiful. The lipglosses are medium sized and perfect for purse or pocket. |
