I like Aveeno's Ultra Calming Moisturizer with feverfew; also, the liquid Oat Beta Glucans from GoW are very soothing. You can put them on straight or add to emu or whatever oil and/or your moisturizer. |

Emu oil is amazing. It's an overnight cure. |

Jeannine, I totally agree. I could not get on well at all without my emu. Love this oil! |

It was strongly suggested to me, I have similar issues, that I stay with a simple Aveeno line.. and JoJoba oil instead of Emu |

Alien, another excellent oil is hempseed oil. It sinks right in and has the perfect ratio of Omega-3's/Omega-6's. I like jojoba as well. |

As I have quite sensitive skin I have tried a few moisturizers. I did try the Toleriane for combo skin. I like it, but if you already have redness it does not seem to reduce it much. Did this bother your skin? Any idea on the possible ingredient(s)?
I have also tried moisturizers from Avenue (anti-redness, and Diroseal) The Diroseal actually has a green tint and mineral oil in the ingredients.
I think I like this one from Neostrata - Rosacure. Available in Canada at SDM.

After trying CP's and 302, as well as other high end line to calm my red skin, only to have it worsen; and to prevent aging- 2 very renowned dermatologist recommended " keep it simple"
That is my new mantr and working well |

When my overly sensitive skin gets really worked up, there are several things I use.
Emu oil, Aquaphor and Decleor Angelique are all cabinet staples for simple dryness.
Obagi Rosaclear system is great for when my rosacea acts up.
I also like Obagi Action for heavy relief, but although it is great for redness and allergic reactions you can only use it for several days.
Description:
As times goes by, your skin will become healthier and in less need of control agents. Action is formulated to bring quick relief to chapping, redness and soreness. This cream will soothe the symptoms of overly dry skin.
Useage:
Use sparingly only when your skin is uncomfortably dry. Can be used to cut strength of Exfoderm. |

SMQueen you would be doing yourself a big favor by trying the Elizabeth Grant serums. They are so wonderful. They make your skin luminous, and hydrated 24 hours a day. And the compliments will come. Check the reviews out at shopnbc. |

The Biocollasis Complex Advanced Cellular Age Defense day, night and eye serums. I heard Lynn say the last time she appeared on TVSN that the double plus serums are going to be discontinued as this newer serums are permanently taking there place.

i am also looking for a good lotion. So far i have tried Aveeno. It has oatmeal which is good for your skin. It works pretty well but not as well as i want for myself. It may do great for you though! i would recommend trying it out. its not too expensive! |
