Dear All,

I have used an entire tub of this over about a year with excellent results. My skin has regained elasticity, pores are smaller by a slight margin, and my skin is smoother and more radiant.
I use it in conjunction with retin-a (0.025% cream), alternating nights. Progress was slow but noticeable. I started noticing how effective this cream was when I applied it to my chest area, which has sun damage, and all the chicken skin and broken blood vessels began to disappear. That's when I decided to use it more consistently on my face.
I highly recommend this product as an effective anti-aging and restorative treatment that is well worth the money if you are not reactive to the main ingredients (niacinimide). Some people report reactions, but I have never had one.

What's more, you can buy it right here on EDS, I just bought my second jar!

Thank you so much for the review Avalange! Smile

I purchased this, the eye cream and the sample pack in my last EDS order and besides the sample pack am yet to use it. I also ordered the neck and hand cream in the order before, but have only used a few times as I wanted to use the whole system, well what I have of it.

Im just wanting to finish off the products Im using now, not long to go and then I will be on to this. I think I will sick with alternate nights though.

I can certainly second avalange's recommendation. I've been using this for several months now and it has made a difference to my skin - in evenness of colour and texture. I also love the hand cream, which has helped to fade the slight sun damage on the backs of my hands.

Does anyone know the difference between this and NIA24's Skin Strengthening Complex? I've tried a sample of the Skin Strengthening Complex and liked it. I was thinking of buying more but might go for the Intensive Recovery Complex instead.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Intensive recovery complex is more moisturizing & offers more firming/anti-aging properties because of the peptides in it.

I think you are right about the differences between the two, brierrose. I much prefer the intensive recovery to the skin strengthening complex--it's far more moisturizing, which my dry skin needs. if you are more of the oily constitution, the ssc would be better.

I tried the sample of the SSC and liked it so much that I was going to order (now on shopping ban). I thought it was hydrating enough for my combo -oily tzone skin for our stinking HOT HOT summer, other than that even though I have not tried the intense recovery which I have purchased I will use that in the other 3 seasons of the year because I like to feel textures that are a bit more heavy.

I just want to add that when I wear this as a night cream, my skin looks amazing when I wake up: poreless, soft, hydrated, and more importantly, in the dead of winter, glowing!
Now if I could only combat my allergies more efficiently so I don't wake up with puffy, itchy eyes...

This sounds like a promising product for winter use. I have oily skin but am seeing in the midst of the obvious and dring December chill how the face is affected by the cold. As I've gotten older - even with my oily base, the need for the right kind of moisture has become noticeable. I'll check into this one further. I am in that place where you can't trust your oily skin but it's not dry either. I sometimes can look parched but I'm not really dry in a noticeable sense. - just needing the hydration of the right product.

I have very dry skin and it's fine for me. I only use it at night, though, as it doesn't always mix well with other products.

You may find that it rubs off in flakes a little when you don't put it on a clean face, so be a little careful about what you use it with.

Anyway, I still love it and hope it works well for you, too! Very Happy

I have not noticed any results worth mentioning with this. My sun-damaged chest area remains the same.
