I don't want to calculate that. Wink
I buy regularly just skincare products for about 250CAD every other month.

Embarassed my cosmetic property is not so impressive - about 150$ - 200$ at all..
I wanted to buy some stuff lately, but can't find a nice and quality site which is shipping to Croatia Neutral

But in fact, maybe that is good for me right now, cause I can see what Retin A, Vit C DYI, simple Avene moisturiser and oils + Zogan massage can do for me. If I overload myself with products - it wouldn't be easy to track what is really useful.

Oh I forgot that I have Tuo Viso - must add it to above amount. I am propertied Laughing

I would estimate mine to be around $300 to $500 for the winter...not too bad I guess. This is including supplements I take for my skin as well...tis merely an estimate Laughing as if something else catches my eye I'm gonna buy it!

I'd say about $400 USD for me. This includes Retin-A, ingredients for DIY Vit C and LED serum, makeup, moisturizer, MSM supplements and sunscreen. It doesn't count gadgets (LED, etc.). But this amount may go up as I'm looking at trying a few things once I use up those I already have.

i think its a bit true though i notice when i spend more money my face looks better.. when im being thrifty and doing drugstore products or cheaper products my skin doesnt look good and i end up buying more anyway to try to fix it and it eventually adds up to what it cost if i spent good money on the good pricier products to begin with. i learned that lesson this fall!

Well I honestly believe this and agree my skin looks way better with salon, more expensive products than with drug store items. I dont even waste my time experimenting with that anymore.

Everyday skincare.....probably $150-$200
Makeup.......Ummmm I'm a makeup fiend (even tho I don't wear it every day, go figure) so easily $500-700
Stuff sitting underneath the bathroom vanity that I've tried and not liked but feel too guilty to toss.......$$$$ I don't want to even GO there!

I agree that for me the more expensive products have worked better and now that I have found something that works very well for me I think it will be more economical. the trial and error is what costs money ...to spend the money and get poor or no results for my skin and have all those products for arms and hands!! I guess samples are the way to go at the beginning.

So much it's embarrassing. I think there may be a bit of an addition/ midlife crisis going on here. Due to hubby's financial problems, I have cut back though. At my peak, I was up to about $1000 plus a month. I estimate I spend less than 30% of what I used to - although I'll still stock up on favorites when they are on sale. I am now actually skipping beauty shows, trying to avoid new skin care lines altogether, telling myself I don't need every new product the minute it comes out, cutting way down on the derm visits, haven't bought a gadget in a year, and am looking for cheaper places to make my purchases, i.e. Alldaychemist.

Well, the recession hit me hard this year and I was forced to economize – and with a family to take care of, my vanity suddenly seemed a lot less important.

Fortunately I had a drawer full of skincare products, including samples, and so I've not had to buy anything at all this year except for Easy Eye Solutions - and that has proved to be the best EDS-inspired investment. I've also recently become very excited and cautiously optimistic about the Tanaka massage, and that's free!

Thinking about it, I reckon for the first time in my adult life, I'm in credit when it comes to my beauty regime as I sold some of my less successful impulse purchases on eBay.

I've been frugal with my retin-a and argan oil, had a stockpile of Frownies, and have continued doing a couple of facial exercises I like for the eyes. So I hardly feel like I've 'suffered' - but I do miss the pampering facials I used to treat myself to a few times a year. Crying or Very sad
