I'm aware of this list of cleanser pH's

http://www.dianayvonne.com/category/11.thephofcommoncleanser/

but can anyone add to the list of any they know of that are pH 5.5 and below? There are so many out there and only a few are included in this list.

Thanks

The brands that are 5.5 ph are Sophyto - carried by EDS and ISUN skin care. I am pretty sure that all Dr.Hauschka products are pH regulated and tested. Other than that, I can't think of any other product lines, although if you don't over strip the acid mantle on the skin, your skin continuously rebalances its pH.

I don't mean to get off topic here but I just checked out the ISUN skin care line & it look's really interesting!

Feliz, what products have you used in this line & what did it do for you if you don't mind me asking?

I have sampled the entire product line. I am affiliated with product sourcing, so I get to try all kinds of products. I liked ISUN so much that I started using it for the last year. The only problem I find is that the Phyto Cleanse II is a bit too drying, and the Refining Exfoliating product is also a bit drying. I LOVE the emerald sun hydrosol, but because my skin has a tendency to be oily its too hydrating. I LOVE the body oils, and have the Carnelian body oil right now that I love. I find that if you have normal skin and mature skin the products are great. The only problem I found is that the products are either too heavy for my skin, or too irritating (Sunstone oil for oily skin)

I would have to say that ISUN is amazing, but I also love Jurlique!!

Thanks Feliz, I appreciate your reply! Since I have mature skin I might try one of their oils esp that there's a Canadian site to order from.

Upayanaturals are an amazing company, I have been ordering from them for a year and fully support their company. I would try one of the Ultra Restore facial oils - they are amazing. I used these around the fine crows feet that have been forming around my eyes, and it was the only product that actually reduced them..although the product is quite expensive its so worth it. Not to mention the DIVINE smell of the product....)

I just contacted Juice Beauty specifically about the organic facial wash and the rep said although they didn't have the "lab pH" the pH was between 4.5 and 5.5 and so I asked about all their cleansers, she said they all were except the green apple one was more acidic.

Have you ever tried the Oil Cleansing Method? Smile

Castor Oil mixed with a base Olive Oil, Jojoba, etc. is quite effective and saves the skin from high PH cleanser which can strip the skin.
