I just started using these two products in combination. My skin has been really dry, irritated, starting to get bumpy, and sensitive. I had previously been using some organic products that are very exclusive and of excellent quality, although my skin did not agree with them.
The soothing foaming cleanser is really the perfect cleanser for my skin, as it gently cleanses the skin without dehydrating it. I have combination skin that can be prone to oily, sensitive and acne. My skin has been very clear for awhile now, but still has oscillating oily and sensitive issues. When ones skin is oily, there is a tendency to use a product that is for oily skin, BUT if you also have sensitive skin = this just aggravates the problem. Therefore, this cleanser is wonderful.

The soothing herbal recovery gel is also wonderful, I immediately notice my skin looked less irritated, and hydrated = less oil!!!

The texture and smell of both products is lovely, and I am once again addicted to Jurlique!!!

It is now 7pm and my skin still is not as oil or as irritated as normal. For years I have been trying to find balance to my skins tendency to be oily and sensitive

It is pretty easy to become a fan. Although, over the last ten years I think the company changed ownership, or they split the company in half. Anyways, some of the products did change, which is unfortunate. The reason why I love them is that all the herbal extracts are organically grown in Australian!! For organic products, they are pretty hard to beat!!!!

You will have to post a product review once you have tried the product. I have not used any creams except the Calendula cream. I prefer to use serums on my skin!!!

Jurlique is definitely a pioneer in organic skincare. Yes, the company has changed hands and the Packer family now owns it since about 5 years ago. The original founders were sued millions for price-fixing in Australia. The packaging has definitely changed. I rather prefer the old versions with foil tubes and glass bottles. What does everybody else think about the packaging?

What are the main differences between the original herbal recovery gel and the smoothing recovery gel?

I used the herbal recovery gel before, very moisture and can feel the essence going deep to the skin. Does the smoothing recovery have the same result, or even better?

I have tried the herbal recovery night cream before but found it slightly clogged my pores a little. My skin felt so soft though, so im thinking of trying the herbal recovery gel which seems to be a bit lighter?

The soothing version is supposed to be more calming for sensitive skin. As far as i can tell it doesn't contain alcohol like the original.
