Hey guys,
i am new to this forum, and am looooooving it. i can't believe i've never heard of this forum. there are so many knowlegable women here. i am fascniated. i love it, even tho this forum can be a bit over whelming at times.
I wanted to know what i can do to help with anti-aging, i am 25 and have quiete a few fine lines. i was never a water drinker, but thank god i recently started drinking lots of water every day. so u can imagine how my skin looks. it's just very dry and not soft or supple.
i really don't want to buy anything that is over prices, as i believe there must be something so simple, that can be found in my kitchen cabinet? or maybe i need to buy some supplements like HA? how about a certain oil that can help with wrinkles?
please tell me your experience. thank you guys so much. |

The best basic things you can do for anti-aging are:
First - daily use of sunscreen
Second - antioxidant serums
Third - rentin-a or the like
There are lots of great recipes on the top of the board.
I wouldn't worry so much about the water. Although I think its YMMV, water doesn't really add much for your skin unless you happen to actually be dehydrated. Its been proven that it doesn't effect aging. |

There are lots of threads that will help you decide on supplements - If you are looking for skincare type supplements -
MSM, HA, silicon drops, Vit C are some you will read about. (There are so many that are advised by EDS members your head will spin). I take all of these and more!
Sunscreen is a must (hats and sunglasses too).
Vitamin C topically in the morning is what many members do.
Retin A at night.
Oil Cleansing method is very nice - I use a castor oil/jojoba blend 60/40 and it works even on my tendency toward oily skin. It's inexpensive and leaves your face with a nice glow.
Also check out the Tanaka massage thread - great advice there. And eventually you will want to look at facial exercise to see if it's for you.
Have fun on EDS - so much you can learn. |
